Chainlink is what connects the real world(aka data not in a blockchain) to a blockchain smart contract.

That means that chainlink is the missing link between the blockchain and it's actual adoption by people and corporations.

Let's say for example that you ordered a dildo to shove up youur ass because sergey made you gay. Your package comes and you confirm that you received it by providing your digital signature to the poor fuck from dhl. Suddenly the smart contract gets fed this information from dhl's oracle and the payment gets released from escrow to the seller.

So in other words chainlink is the solution to being able to stay at home and masturbate all day.
