This project seems promising but it doesn’t seem nearly as much as shoe-in a Link. Link benefits enormously from the network effect and isn’t really competing at all with existing companies. Iexec doesn’t seem to benefit from the network effect and is competing with existing cloud infrastructure.

The cloud providers connect their machines to iExec for various reasons. Offering idle computing power to iExec is one great use case. iExec can also save them money in various ways but that's for another thread.
