My broker has some stuff packaged in like Morningstar and similar. I don't use any of it aside from the news feed. I don't find it helpful for the way I trade. It doesn't seem to be particularly helpful for long hodl approach either. Morningstar is very fond of heavily basing its ratings on what it determines to be fair value, which in practice has little or zero correlation with the price action of any given stock.

OK based on weather or not the position was entered at the right time.
This has yielded me $50 on average, but I can yield even more, $100 I'd say (however I panic and sell early since I am new to TA)
The right time usually is when there is a clear and strong tendency, and volume is high (for example 30 to 40 minutes after market open for ETFs like SPY).

I get $230 up front, and then it just sits there for a month and the call expires. Then I put it up again and make another quick $200. I'm already double my investment on it and it just keeps making me money even after everyone else cut and run. If the sell ever gets exercised at $23, I'll just make a quick $2300 on top of the $600 I've already made. The way I see it, it's literally a 10% monthly interest gain. That's more than you'll get for most savings accounts.

Essentially what I said, except more firmly. Whatever indicators you use are inversely as strong as the amount of specificity they have. Trends are just that, and so the closer you examine them the more deviation from the norm you find. Same thing with smaller timescales. If you day/swingtrade with it like I do, be prepared to abandon the trend and anticipate a reversal at pre-determined support/resistance levels. For longer horizons, news and the general market sentiment always trump TA in the longterm anyway, except in special circumstances, but it can be helpful to find a time to properly act.

Conventional wisdom would advice on investing on Stay at home stocks, however

said, but also compare the baseline of the curve (a spline on the bottoms from the march lows to now). If you extend it, it should hit about 100 as the graph is drawn, but if it breaks it, it suggests we are no longer following the same trend and have entered a strong downward momentum (as judged by the magnitude of the dip which aligns well with the other two cliffs in late feb/early march).
Another scenario supported by the upper spline is that we're already about bottomed out and that it's going to continue on the trend now, as the previous peak breaks through the upper spline indicating irrationally strong move that is merely being corrected now.
But there was ultimately just one point in all this: assuming that you wanted to memeline the future, the scenario where it goes below 100 and then bounces back up that quickly is one of the less likely.

Dude, just buy anything. I'm currently selling WKHS and PLUG. I got in WKHS at $8. It was only $800. In 4 months of covered sell calls I completely made back my investment and I have $800 worth of equity, even after the tank. If by some chance the deal goes through and it sky rockets again, it's nothing but straight profit. Seriously, any stock that allows to you sell calls is simply free money. My PLUG is only like $50 a month. I'm not going to get rich off of it, but an extra $50 covers my gas expense for a month, or a night out drinking. Extra cash is extra cash. Find something relatively stable and just keep making free money.

>Tech seems to be overvalued and many are speculating that we currently are experiencing a repeat of the dotcom bubble
Tech may be overvalued, and NASDAQ might not return to ATH until next year, but the current scenario is wholly unlike the dotcom bubble. Back then NONE of the famous internet companies made any money. Now you’ve got many tech companies raking in billions of profits while maintaining absurd profitability metrics and many of the tech companies that “aren’t profitable” still have hundreds of millions in revenue. Sometimes “this time is different” is more than just a meme.

you might have a point, however I'm still skeptical. Even if you are a growth investors fundamentals still factor in a investment decision. You may want to invest in a stock because it seems to be mooning, but if its fundamentals signal that in the long term it will remain unprofitable , and on top of that it turns out to be a fad, (like I think TSLA will turn out to be ), then it will most likely turn unprofitable.

Amarin down ~50% you got me on there, holding though because they should win their patent appeal at EOY. Only ~15% of portfolio was tied up in there though so I'm not shedding too many tears. You win some you lose some.

Played SAVA after it crashed (didnt buy into first wave) and pulled 40% off that oversold recovery. Pulled a nice little 50% on SOLO when it was first shilled and took obvious profits the next day.

Rest of my portfolio is more reasonable stock stuff, but I assure you, of all the shilled biomemes here ONTX is probably the one with the most solid underpinning in terms of the actual data & research behind it. SPAQ has been closely tied to the rest of the EV stocks and they've been eating shit for the last few days. The news of it joining Fisker was too late to catch most of the EV pump but that may not be over just yet. There is still runs of room left for EV stocks to run up, but what is unclear is when it will happen. They may not move until there's another catalyst, maybe the TSLA earnings beat coming July 22nd but a lot of that has been priced in. If it doesn't pump by then I think the wait will be much longer.

I like SPAQ with an entry at this price, I think it has a good risk reward ratio but so far I've just been getting burned by it.

Very few people would rather have a Fisker Ocean than a Model Y. They did well to steal some of the design elements from Tesla, the minimalist dash, the retracted door handles, but I doubt it will become serious competition. Their technology is much worse than Tesla, they don't do much in house and they are trying to partner with companies that also don't beat Tesla. Keep in mind that it won't be out until 2022.

SPAQ bros, don't hold onto it forever, the wait is too long before it starts to turn a profit and the stock will stagnate.

I'm talking bullshit here on EV so don't trust anything but the gist.

The traditional car companies outsource everything but the engine and some other parts. So their actual knowhow and capabilities aren't actually all that good for EV. Whereas Tesla is highly vertically integrated.

So the actual "we know cars and can do EV easy" shit is a farce. EV have everything different including how the AC works and tons of other shit. So it's not an easy switch.

Anyway, the other half of the problem is selling to customers. Tesla has a massive advantage here and possibly their biggest advantage aside from software/tech under the hood. They drive demand and can sell direct.

The problem here is that dealerships in general do everything to not sell an EV because they make jack shit on it in maintenance theoretically, and that's how they make most money.

I don't agree with Tesla stock price though, but aside from stock price the company is very well positioned and will probably end up with a large market share of EV in the future.

The Endurance is starting at $52,500
The Cybertruck starts at $39,900.

Then they have a man in the middle taking 6% on top.

No, you're right. The only thing I would add is that some automakers have worked out agreements with dealerships where the car is ordered online and then only picked up there so the margin gap could be much smaller than comparing Tesla to a traditional dealership model. I question how long the dealerships could manage to stay in business but that gives them a few years of life.
