Who here invests in defense/military stocks? The always have a pretty stable revenue. The whole Edward Snowden affair bought Booz Allen Hamilton to my attention. They're doing pretty great and as long as the U.S government keeps pumping money into cybersecurity their cash flow is going to be secure.

Mayby i'm terribly out of place here but this is actually a bad thing to be investing in

You're giving money to people who kill and destroy for a living

>> No.19829

Ideally you want a company that's got a good mix of commercial/military shit and also has a lot in future tech. So probably Boeing, or General Dynamics. Maybe even Raytheon. Stay away from Lockheed Martin though, I heard shit's going down over there.

I thought of using some capital to make some tacticool ARs and selling them on gun broker along with this before election years come along.

Considering all the craziness that happens during election years the only thing I have to make is money off my cowwadooty guns.

I'll keep that in mind, anon.

With 'we' i assume you're a hamburger. You 'morally agree' with non-defensive wars obviously aimed at gaining commodities such as oil and other strategicly important resources?

Investing in these companies is sort of a grey area but you just went full psychopath

Yeah, it's terrible that we did that. I'm glad they helped they helped us kick the Soviets out, but arming them was incredibly short sighted and the wrong thing to do. I don't support the funding of terrorist groups, which is why I don't support what we're doing with Syria, arming terrorist rebel groups.
>>20243
Yeah, and also, considering that we were the ones that armed them, wouldn't it be our responsibility to remove them from power?

I do not know what defines your definition of genocidal maniac but perhaps you need to take a good, hard look at America yourself

>largest prison population in the world
>including your crown jewel, Guantanamo Bay
>largest collection of weapons in the world
>including your nuclear weapons, remember, America is the only country in the world to have actually used Nuclear weapons in battle
>literally not in peace since the second World War
>you guys simply cannot stop invading countries
>literally spying on everyone in the world
>largest income inequality since the 1920s
>Free Press Index rates you under Romania and barely above Haiti
>Corporate America shows 0 respect for the ecology of your own country, nor the rest of the world

We've done some pretty fucked up shit, I agree, but there's a difference between doing fucked up shit and literally gassing civilians with the goal of wiping out their race. Although a few things wrong about your points:
>Russia has the largest nuclear stockpile
>War /=/ battle, and were they not used millions would have died
>I understand if you disagree, but I think that our invasions have all been justified, although the stuff we did in Central and South America was unforgivable and unjust
>We were at peace several times between 1945 and now
>Several countries have a larger income inequality
There are much worse places than America, friend.
And people disagreeing with you aren't trolls, your opinion isn't the only valid one.

Hey, I totally understand why you think the wars aren't justified, and you raised some good points
However, I still support the military action we're involved in now, and I also agree with most of the military actions we've involved ourselves with in the past.

Yeah. America is going to go through an interwar period. The military is making large personnel cuts and the contracts should be going down. There are still going to be lot's of R&D, which is why you should spend on high tech defense firms.

The F-35 is not really their fault I don't think anyone thought through the whole international acquisition cooperation thing.

Now, the F-22... THAT is their fault. Flight computer crashing from flying over the dateline? Oxygen system that doesn't work? A COMPUTERIZED LATCH that trapped a pilot inside and to cut him out cost the taxpayer over $100 million dollars to get the F-22 fully restored?
