There are like 600 cryptocoins out there
What is the difference between all of them?

Are they all pump and dump pozni schemes with different names?

Those trips are unwarranted you absolute retard, crypto is still within it's VERY early developmental stages and can be capitalized off of effectively in many years to come. One peak doesn't signify the end of opportunity within this shindig!

Don't you just buy BTC and ETH and then sit on it

You should start small.

Just buy some Bitcoin every month, no matter what the price is, so that on average your buyprice will be quite low. Also keep an eye on Dips, if BTC goes below 1000, buy a lot more. If ETH goes below 50, buy a lot more. These things didn't peak yet. Bitcoin will go to 10000$ within 4 years, I could almost guarantee this, with the next halving in 3 years and potential ETFs. ETH will probably go up more %wise.

Start small, read, first buy BTC and ETH, then slowly read about other projects.

Some interesting projects that didn't really get a big pump recently YET:
Iconomi
Waves

Sometimes I like to roleplay as nocoiner to see what it feels like, I'm sure everyone one /biz/ does it just to test other coiners.

People who disagree with crypto would of long left /biz/ I presume.

You buy BTC, you learn to day-trade shitcoins to get more BTC.

Where do I buy? Europe here. How do I get started with buying bitcoins? Is there a wallet system?

If you really want to gamble, put a decent chunk into POSW. It's either going to skyrocket hard or burn and fall to earth, but the risk is worth the possible reward imo.

>> No.2037337

>>2037196
There's lots of places to buy BTC in Europe. Where in Europe do you live?

And yes there's a wallet system. You can download a wallet for a desktop, you can install a wallet app, or you can get an online wallet at blockchain.info. There's lots of choice.

If you want a very trusted exchange in Europe you could go for Kraken, the UI is pretty bad imo, but it's a very safe exchange. You can deposit EUR and keep your BTC there or withdraw it to your own wallet.

You could also try litebit.eu

>> No.2037370

Hey guys I have no idea how any of this works.

Can somebody explain how to start? I live in the UK.

As far as I can tell, I google some crypto website, give them my £ money in exchange for BTC + ETH then wait for 5 years, then sell.

Is that right?

I have up to £10,000 I am willing to invest.

I live in Sweden.
But these wallets hold all cryptos?
Any advice on a good wallet app?

Could I withdraw cryptos to euros and put them in some other account at any time?

>> No.2037543

>>2037370
well you could do that.

But if you're keeping them on an exchange it would be wise to lend them out as margin funding. That way you can get around 0.02-0.07% (Lower for Eth) per day INTEREST. If then the value also goes up.

Or you could withdraw them to your own personal wallet with your own private key, that's safer I guess.

But you could also invest in smaller coins that still have a long way to go and will go up more in %. I think you should start with investing half of your money in BTC and ETH and then while learning/watching (if you enjoy it), potentially buy more or other coins.

>> No.2037550

>>2037397
I don't think there's wallets that hold ALL crypto's. I personally don't use any multi currency wallets, but there probably are some. But an exchange is fine too if you trust (I would be careful with some exchanges like Yobit, but Kraken is safe)

If you live in Sweden you should be able to withdraw EUR easily.

>> No.2037573

>>2037550
Alright, I'll stick to Kraken then. Is it safe with having to give out personal ID and linking my personal bank account etc?

Is fiat money a term for "normal currency"?

>Kraken
Apparently Kraken needs my phone number before I can withdraw fiat (which is what I want to do when I decide to sell crypto down the line). I really dislike giving my personal phone number to entities I do not consider close acquaintances or relatives, so I wonder if there are any exchanges that are secure and don't require one to reveal their phone number.
I'm a Eurocuck too by the way.

I don't see why it isn't safe. The worst they could do it show it to your government, but that shouldn't be a problem if the money isn't black and you can just show them because you actually sent money FROM your bank account to Kraken.

And yes, fiat is normal currency like USD and EUR

UK is still in Europe. There's lots of choice for you too. Kraken is fine.

If you want to use Paypal, litebit.eu would be the best. Regular bank transfers is fine for Kraken, and so are lots of others.
