That's the craziest part. To become fully deluded/unhinged by fud, it took at least a month of browsing biz and researching on your own though, but that meant that you already had a small bag, because from the first weeks on biz you could understand this was one of the cryptos to buy, but after diving deep into the rabbit hole you eventually understand that Chainlink is THE crypto which made me go all in and kept me being all in. for the ICO, i was in front of my computer. then, during the pump leading up to sibos, i sat in front of my computer and used it. when it had pumped during the bullrun, i was enjoying some time at the computer.

throughout all the bleeding out after the bear market reared its ugly head, i spent some time with the computer, quietly confident i could get more link. i turned on my computer and accumulated. eventually my computer had some weird issues and wasn't working properly, could barely run video games on it. so in the middle of the bear market i made the decision to get a new computer. then link started to pump again and me and my new computer were so happy.

where was i when mainnet was announced? funny you should ask. i logged onto my computer and realized that we were finally going to make it. the rest, as they say, is history.

now im sitting here in front of my computer seeing the price at over $8 and we're number 8 on coinmarket cap? 7,7 was reached a few days ago? its been a real topsy turvy, eventful couple of years. im looking forward to more pumps. we're all in this together!

I came in during this time, right as Link as going down to 30 cents around Sibos. This is when I was first introduced to the crypto world and found some topic of people raving about what smart contracts can do for the world and how Ethereum needed Chainlink to connect to the real world so it could reach its potential. I immediately had an epiphany how much I needed smart contracts in my life to not get screwed over by all the employers who never bothered to pay me my dues and decided I needed to put all my money into it, regardless of whether or not it was the next big thing. Because of that topic, I was completely IMMUNE to the FUD and the discussions had every other day only bolstered my confidence in the project further.

It has been a fantastic ride all around and I'm eternally grateful to be apart of something so grand that will benefit the world 1000x fold.
