honestly just increase TSM and AMD to 25%/25% of your portfolio and it doesn't really matter where you put the rest of your nmoney in.
I'm sure AMD will stop crabbing any day now. Crabbing just buys you more time to put money into it before it finally moons on some news. Alternatively just 25% TSM and 25% SOXX to cover all those tech plays (Microsoft, NVDA, AMD) instead of relying on AMD to stop crabbing. But it's not like AMD doesn't have fundamentals, just priced in a bit too far into the future.

so you can look up what stock is contained in an ETF, LIT has TSLA stock so a lot of the gains it's seen recently are from TSLA. I expect WKHS to get the USPS contract as well, and that will legitimize EVs as not emerging, but emerged when they become a major government fleet vehicle, potentially kicking off investment across the sector.

One thing I look for is how economical it is for mega corps like AMZN to adopt a new technology, and automation definitely saves them a ton not just in labor costs, but less concerns with OSHA, greatly reduced HR departments, etc. Self-driving fleet vehicles would be a huge cost-saving measure for them and they're all EVs almost by necessity, so if I know someone like Bezos is going to have to put his money somewhere, that's where mine is going. Reducing it down to materials with a small market like lithium, which will supply every EV manufacturer, or semiconductors which will go in every EV and robotic control arm, etc, seems more intuitive to me because it's a greater likelihood of profit even if I am limiting upside potential by not investing in something like TSLA directly.

I don't like advising people on specific stocks, but you now know my overall investment strategy if you want to apply it yourself.

when do we transition into the bear market?

The 2008 bubble was made by 700 billion USD in assets.

Currently the US private debt is:
1.4b student loans
1.1b auto loans
10+b in mortgage

Shouldn't a collapse in stocks happen when forbearance ends, and Americans have to liquidate their stock assets to cover their obligations? If that's true, then we see shocks in late September right?

Most Americans don't have any significant stock holdings which is why they got left behind in the ever widening wealth gap. TARP was a crime against humanity responsible indirectly for both the Tea Party movement and Occupy Wall St. But the public has short memories.

Cyrus McCormick automated the slaves into perpetual unemployment so it's not entirely untrue, but automation definitely saves people billions and therefore will receive a ton of investment, it's just a question of when. We seem closer now than ever before so I'm willing to put money on it.

If it helps any, ARKK looks promising. One strategy I use is:
>find a sector ETF I like
>look at major components of the ETF (top 5 holdings generally)
>look for upcoming catalysts amongst those stocks
>buy into the ETF shortly before said catalyst so that if it goes down, my losses are insulated by the rest of the ETF

Ex: LIT contains TSLA, which is possibly entering s&p500 july 22 but nobody's really sure because it depends on if they have positive earnings. So, by purchasing LIT I limit my exposure to the sharp drop they'd likely experience if they report negative, but I still the benefits of holding TSLA, and at a much lower cost to myself.

Avoid leveraged ETFs unless you're a pussy and want to hold SPY for baby gains. What you need to start doing is waking up 1 hour before market opens. Look at the latest headline news for market direction. Check out the latest /biz/ memestocks. Watch futures direction. "Watch" specific stocks you're interested in and track its trendline. Wait for the daily dip small or big. There are so many other things to say but these are really basic ideas to get started

Not yet. We're riding this thing all the way up until then. All assets will collapse either mid August or September. Banks are running the same scheme that caused the 2008 crisis only with businesses now. Covid is impacting businesses heavily and we will begin to see an uptick in loan defaults and bankruptcies beginning August. Businesses are going to close their doors and more people are going to lose their jobs. This coupled with the exponentially increasing cases and schools opening back up will likely send us to another shut down. Things aren't looking great but we don't need to stir panic until the dominos actually start tipping.

Multiple bottom or top (usually two or three) is considered a reversal pattern. Multiple top being bearish and multiple bottom being bullish. In pic related the S&P did a triple bottom in 2002 at the tail end of the dot-com crash. See how the price rebounded repeatedly at similar level near green line three times? That is triple bottom. Now, there are problems with using this pattern as a trading indicator. Consolidation price action often looks identical to multi-top or bottom pattern and you won't know whether it was one or the other until after the pattern has played out. Calling multi-top or multi-bottom without breakout either way is a good way to lose money when line don't do what you think it should do. This chart pattern is more reliable on weekly and monthly candles, especially when there is a decent period of time between each peak.
