guise help a retard newfriend out pls, can coinbase wallet or metamask hold rsr? i don't understand uniswap yet and don't know where my assets would go to once i swap them

Yes. I have some on my Coombase Wallet. Once you swap ETH for RSR, the RSR will automatically appear after a little while (on Meta you might need to add it manually).

If you can try to use your own wallet. Use metamask or myetherwallet. Your coinbase wallet is not your wallet, it is coinbase's wallet.

Thanks bros, I have been downloading and trying a myriad of wallets and don't know yet which one to use.
I was expecting to have one that supports all coins and tokens but it seems to be more complicated than that.

RSR is an ERC20 token, which means all Ethereum wallets support it :)
The client however just displays what tokens you have in your Ethereum wallet. myetherwallet supports all tokens, and if you find one that it doesn't support yet, you can add it manually pretty easily.

However what I would say is to use metamask if you are going to use uniswap a lot. Metamask has very good token support too just like myetherwallet.

Great, I think I will stick to metamask and maybe trust wallet, I was looking into XMR too but I think i need a dedicated wallet for that one, right?

This is going to dip more right?

Yeah you will need a monero wallet for that, but luckily there are pretty easy to use web wallets. If you are investing like $400+ you might want to look into getting a Ledger/Trezor hardware wallet for like $40-50, they store loads of different coins and are the most secure option.

I heard about them, buy im a /3rdworlder/ so I can't really afford it yet. I literally just begun looking into crypto I may have invested $50 tops. If i manage to make gains I will most likely buy one, they seem secure as shit

Fairdos, good luck fren
Word of warning: be careful with trading fees, especially on uniswap and other swapping sites (they can be as bad as like $2). Only trade if you REALLY need to.

When coinbase?

Ahah Coinbase dips its toes into this shit but as soon as it will tank, will get the fuck out and leave you with your huge bags. Good luck!

I used uniswap to send directly to my ledger address and it worked.
