The rewards are split as

If staking the chance of being picked as the random Staker to get the 9 XSN from the block reward increases depending on how many XSN you have. Think of it like a lottery and 1 XSN is 1 ticket. So the more XSN you have staking the higher your chance of winning a block reward.

Same for MN’s. Each MN is a ticket to win and currently there are 2000 other MN’s with tickets to win that block reward so your chance of getting it is 1/2000 per MN.

No do not send to the cloud to start an MN. You need to download the core wallet and send it there, this way you always keep control of your coins. There is a good video guide on YouTube you can follow.
