A couple years ago I sent like 60 ETH to sell and thirty minutes later it still didn't get credited. Looked at wallet address and it was completely different then where I sent it, wtf. Called tech support and he said my money was gone. Mid call like an hour later the money appeared in my account. He's like "oh yeah we use dynamic wallet addresses they're always changing I guess yours is good after all."

I wish these boomer exchanges would stop acting like it's 2011 and start handling deposit/withdrawals with end-to-end secure tamper-proof smart contracts that you just type in and sign with metamask, of the sort that modern services such as Uniswap use. I too get anxious about moving money in/out of exchanges and have even lost trade opportunities because of that.
