Not quite. If you look at bank stocks, most did find their lows back in March. Now when you look at WFC, you'll see it found a lower low in April, before finally bottoming out at the 22 you mentioned on May 13th.
And that's the fundamental problem with Wells. Just when you think they can't possibly have more bad news to report, they find another way to shit the bed and tank even lower.

on an unrelated note,

i do a bit believe in vape technology bringing back people to be addicted to nicotine, and hold positions in BTI and MO. i use a BTI vape and its dope, and a lot of people use it at my office, that or a JUUL. people can vape in public transit as well, which just reinforces habits. they're a bit beaten down, but the dividend is great and i don't mind waiting.

Do people really think Tesla deserves the current valuation?
I mean, sure. It may show a profitable Q2 and move to the SP500 and get another pump to 2000 or so.

But, realistically. People are treating it like a tech stock. It's not.
And Porsche showed with the Taycan that they can compete with Tesla even if Tesla has a huge head start in EVs.
Do people really think Tesla is worth more than the VAG+Porsche. Or Toyota, Toyota has a war named after them. They sell cars to terrorists and the UN alike.
It would take 5 years of them sitting in their asses for Tesla to get them.

"Tesla is more than cars" That is dumb. SpaceX is not a subsidiary of Tesla, neither is Solarcity.
The stockprice has nothing to do with them.

I'm a fan of Tesla. But current valuation is too much. And the more it rises. More risk there is.

generally more and more online advertising, my company is ballooning my facebook ad budget, i helped sell about 2 million in product through ads i made through covid time, average return of 40x in sales per dollar spent which is unquestionable great, as my target was just 10x.

I beat my yearly targets. until people start physically driving to work again, other types of advertising will be neglected, like radio and billboards.

however like all advertising, there's a limit to how effective it is.

tl;dr. facebook and amazon are still very solid.

also salesforce ( $CRM ) is an amazing company, its the backbone to a lot of companies, and my friend who works for a big 4 accounting firm implements it nonstop, its growing, his words, 'like cancer'.

companies switch over to salesforce, and pay thousands a year to use the system. the system also cuts out a lot of middle management jobs, saving the company thousands and allowing sharp targeting of customers all throughout their journey.

I'm big into CRM as well, its a bit overvalued but compared to shopify, its a lot safer and has a lot more potential long term. their product is incredibly sticky and expensive to get off, and companies love it.

I'm thinking of going long on VW and Porsche actually.

Porsche Taycan is better than a model S and it is the first attempt by Porsche at fully electric cars.
Tesla's first car, the Roadster, was so bad, they are going to release another so people forget the first.

Tesla fanboys are mental. I know Teslas are the best EVs there are. But Tesla is not worth the current marketcap, and this valuation will only hold if the other automakers don't do anything about it.

I just don't understand advertising / consumer mindset stuff at all because I live the adblock lifestyle and never watch TV.
How can you tell which sales are driven by your ads? You mean specifically situations where someone clicks an ad and then buys products after the link? I also can't believe that people do that, but what do I know.

My company (engineering) just switched to salesforce to track a lot of the work that we do. It's such a "boring" system, I do understand that they're going to make crazy money through it but the actual platform itself isn't that impressive. Their whole business seems to just be setting up databases and interfaces for dumb managers and HR women (IMO).

it literally does everything. you have someone entering data? cut that guy out, salesforce does it for you. it creates logs of every consumer, their complaints, their location, their purchasing habits, it can integrate sales numbers into accounting softwear. there's so many jobs in an office where someone has to make reports every week about what happened from one platform. imagine a platform that amalgamates all data from all sources, retail, online and presents it in a nice way, so money can be put into things that are returning more money and reduce in other areas.

basically it gets rid of unnecessary jobs and positions, so less people can get paid and the company/people on top/shareholders make more money. genius, right?

even governments are implementing it for citizen complaints and cleaning up dog shit in parks, etc, and they all have to pay for the service they can never get rid of. then later, they add more features, and companies pay more for the features.

finally, its all cloud based, so you can access the information anywhere, without having to have infrastructure in the office like servers to run anything.

facebook pixels are installed by our website to track if a customer purchased or not, and which pages they visited. so my sales are directly attributed to people clicking ads. we also use UTM links to track clicks from other sources, so we know where everyone came from and bought from, whether its google, facebook, etc.

with facebook, you target via audiences, so i can be like 'ages 20-55, likes 4chan, engaged shopper, lives in his moms basement' as parameters and it will only target people like that with ads. so for less money, you get more sales.
