I'd like to relay my story to you guys. In 2017 I was all in Chainlink and picked up 400,000 LINK. Yes, you read that right: 400k LINK. I was sure it was going to be the next ETH and a huge influence on the world in the future.

Come the 2017/2018 rise and fall, I decided to swing with the goal of accumulating 1 million LINK. I diversified into a couple of other shitcoins I believed at the time to be decent projects. I moved into these because they took a heavy beating and my mentality was "when the market bounces back, these will bounce back harder than LINK, and then I'll move all the gains into LINK".

As most of you are aware, the market never bounced back. All of those shitcoins basically died, and I was ultimately left with the choice to try to continue to ride them out or move what I had left back into LINK. I chose the latter.

Today I own less than 50k LINK. By many anon's standards, I have a nice stack, but I wake up every day cursing myself and thinking about the what-ifs. When I see the people gloating here with 150-200k stacks, I think to myself "I once had double that". I see the price and think "I could have retired right now, today".

I will honestly never live my swinging down. I know it's still early, and I'll keep holding. You may be sitting there with a 1k or 5k or 10k stack thinking about swinging. Don't. When LINK is $200/token and you've whittled your 10k down to 1k swinging, you will have a hard time living with the fact that if you just held you could be a millionaire.

Please anons, for friendship and everything holy, if you are thinking about swinging, don't. I should be happy but just want to kms every day the price goes up. That is the only fate a swingie sees.

I probably deserve both. I have absolutely learned my lesson since. I will never fucking sell at this point. And I'm doing my best to keep frens from making the same mistakes I did. It just hurts a lot today in particular so I figured I'd make this post in case anyone is on the other side looking at this price action thinking it's a good time to swing. I have no plans to sell at this time, as staking and future growth could make it actually not worth selling by any means. However, assuming I want to ultimately diversify into other assets, the minimum I'd ever sell any at is probably $200/LINK. Part of my stack will be absolutely reserved for $1000/LINK which I am sure will be hit, though the timeline may not be favorable for me since I'm a 35 year old boomer.

The javascript has been hacked and now all LINK nodes are being affected, meaning they will go offline one by one.

But here's the real trick; every node that goes offline first has to be validated by other nodes, Thus the first node won't go offline until EVERY SINGLE NODE has verified it actually has gone offline

LINK will be in an infinite javascript loop. Maybe if you're a programmer you will recognize FOR and WHILE loops. Well.. This is a FOR loop that NEVER ends.

The price will TANK to at least 100 satoshi. Maybe even lower when the nodes are actually verified being offline.

Sergey is now busy setting up extra nodes to undo this process. Called contra-hacking. He has injected some GO-language code, pseudo-offline code, into the ChainLink network. This means nodes will appear the be online, while they are struggling to go offline, but in the meantime they cant because it isnt verified yet. Neat trick if you ask me, but it wont last long before the other nodes will know whats really going on.
