Even if you can't get more nodes you'll still be able to stake your xsn. My plan is this, my nodes gives my XSN rewards, I put those rewards into my ledger and start staking them. Just waiting for ledger to implement the cold staking code. I know the stakenet discord has done a community event regarding ledger so we'll see how that turns out.

If you live in America, hold for a year so your holdings are considered long-term. That should allow you to cash out the median income at 0% and everything beyond that up to $450k or so at 15%. MN rewards are a gray area. Technically not dividends as nothing is made liquid, so FIFO would take priority.
Unless you're looking to blow $1 mil in a year, you can cash out and pay no more than 15% while keeping a serious position in crypto.

my biggest concern about all of this is raiden integration. eth is notoriously fucked in terms of cross chain integrations - I'm concerned that the liquidity tied to eth and tokens is not going to be accessible to xsn, and that integration will be DOA, effectively killing the end product since so much of the alt market is built on the eth chain.

honestly, eth development (or the lack thereof) is holding back the entire market right now, and that makes me unreasonably angry. fucking vitalik and his inability to manage timeline is literally keeping crypto from going mainstream, and that is endlessly frustrating.
