I don't see why people keep spouting this, as if 1 MN is enough to make it. You'll literally need a minimum of ten AND a golden bullrun to make it.

Lets say they put the trading fees down to 0.1% to be competitive with other exchanges. A MN daily return would be $39 given 2300 MN online and a daily volume of 100 MILLION USD.

100 million usd volume, 2300masternodes, and 0.1% trading fee. Do you really see it getting over 100M daily volume? Do you really see the number of master nodes going down?

500M daily volume, 2300 nodes online and 0.1% trading fee is $195 per day. per master node. 1MN is not enough to make it. 10 is making it.... Maybe as the amount of nodes will continue to go up forever, you'll always need to have more nodes to keep your income steady

Other than my masternode, I have about 700 XSN I'm not using. Call me a brainlet, but I'm checking the stakenet faq and I still don't quite get what's the best thing I should I be doing with them for rewards. For starters, should I hold them on my wallet or the cloud?
