What is your current networth/age and how did you get here?

>approx $370K, age 22

>make first 5K or so in highschool writing runescape bot scripts and selling on rsbots.net
>realise that buying/selling rsgp is far more profitable and make approx 20K doing this in last two years of highschool
>networth only goes up about 10K over the next two years
>invest in bitcoin and some ethereum and get where I am today

I'm pretty proud of myself desu. Owe a lot of my success to /biz/ teaching me about cryptos.

Let's be honest here, you're probably going to spend that $500 bucks on something trivial like vidya, alcohol, drugs, food, clothing, or whatever else normies spend their money on. I spent $40 bucks in crypto, and $40 in robinhood last year, and I have $200 in crypto now, and $80 in robinhood now. Just imagine if I actually put the amount of a few $100 into crypto or rh. I'm not saying take out a loan to invest, just to spend your weekend money on crypto.

Competition's there, but we outperform pretty much everyone on account of my being anal about getting proper quality steel at a good price, which means that I have good relations with production/sales managers, that guanxi you always hear about when doing business with China.

The hardest part is convincing clients that paying $200/ton below our price for steel to a Chinese vendor is not going to result in them getting the steel they want.

As for oligarchs, they're a mixed bag; they're generally desperate for competent people to get things done, they mostly get rich off of government tenders that are nominally free/open but not really. For example, the government might issue a tender for an official website and have it be "open" for a period of 24 hours, but have the tender require a certain amount of completeness for the website demonstrating functionality along with certain specific features in order to submit a bid; an oligarch might be informed in advance and so be able to prepare for this ahead of time, while other companies who might normally compete are left out to dry.

Other times it's just straight up corruption, though, which we avoid like the plague. You have to pay bribes to customs officials, that's just a cost of doing business; if you don't do it they'll delay your shipment by a week or more and in a time-sensitive industry, that can mean losing your entire investment on that shipment. Your shipment might magically be heavier going through Russian customs than elsewhere and you have to pay duties on the additional weight or your steel might magically turn into something else which has specific anti-dumping duties applied to it, duties which you pay but never seem to show up in the Russian custom's bank account at the end of the day. And if you dispute that the goods are what customs say they are, well, their guy who checks these things is on vacation. Stuff like that you just have to deal with. But other stuff, no.

You have 2.5k in cash. If you need a point A to B car, you can usually buy one on craigslist. I rode a bike for about a year and saved up a decent amount. I used about 1k of my money to buy a car from someone off of craigslist. Sure you take a chance on a shitty car, but to improve your chances, I suggest looking up guides on buying used cars and what to look out for. Also when you do purchase a used car, you need the previous owner to sign the title transfer paper AND the purchase price paper (your dmv should carry them, or you can print one online.) As long as it passes inspections, you should be alright.

I actually feel kind of poor because that 5,000 is all the money in the world I currently own, and car repairs and bills and rent is expensive as a student.

stop being a whiney little bitch.
"everything I have i worked so hard for. Yet I cant help but feel I wont make it in this world designed for me to fail."

Seriously that is some of the most bullshit entitled attitude I've ever hear. YOU made stupid fucking decisions and need to take responsibility for them. You even said you wasted your life untill now.

Now you have a choice. I have never known anyone to be successful that didn't first think they had the capability to. It's a mindset. You can either sulk around like a bitch, or you can say "Hey, I may not know how to be successful, but i sure know how to be unsuccessful, I can learn from this.."

You have more opportunity than 99% of all of mankind has ever had. Those opportunities are everywhere. Find a job, find TWO jobs. do whatever It takes. Save up 4 months of all expenses and save it, or buy a car if you really need it. Don't spend any money you don't absolutely have to, and SAVE SAVE SAVE.

In a year's time, if you work as much as you can, even at min wage. I'm talking 60 hour weeks, you'll probably have about 15-20k saved up...

If you really need help, Join the military. It will teach you discipline and hand feed you opportunities.

Lost over 20k today longing AMD. Well, now about even on the long but that's pretty garbage for 6ish months of straight bull market. Have no idea what I want to do with my life. Have 1 close friend and that's about it. Fall into intermittent weed or alcohol addictions consistently, can't bring myself to lift or better myself in any way besides money and I'm a shit investor. Luckily live in OH where col is super low, but that also means I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do when the business goes down. Econ, but it wasn't my major that got me the job. I did sysadmin/security admin work for the school while I was a student, then went into info sec out of college. If you get certifications, you'll get paid/promoted. Experience still counts for a lot in this industry, because they don't really teach a lot of the principles of info sec in undergrad degree programs.

No one gives a fuck about your plight. There will always be someone worse off than you. Why the fuck do you think you are entitled for others to feel sorry for you. I'm sure 90% of us have had our own hardships to get through. Being born with wealthy parents doesn't mean shit. And you're sitting here on the internet with literally the entire wealth of knowledge mankind has accumulated. So unless you are disabled, there is literally 0 excuses not to find your own success.

You don't deserve handouts because your parents were fucking retards. So quit bitching and acting like we need to feel sorry for you because you're an entitled immature black fuckwit.

The sooner you learn that life is unfair and you can't afford to be sensitive the better.

Cryptocurrencies and /biz/ aren't going to make you rich. Hardwork, and Risk are.

If you need help, and want to learn proper discipline, maturity, and ethics; Join the Military. You'll get plenty of opportunities, make good money, and you'll get practical skills. Working on jets, Boats. Basically do anything but Infantry.

And yes. I'm going to belittle your plight. Because it doesn't mean shit to anyone but you. Go out and make something for yourself. That starts by not being a little bitch, and realizing the only thing holding you back is yourself.
