Some retarded TSLA bull options underwriter has made some stupid credit spreads and is getting reamed right now. Some big money, probably something like a Chinese bank, has been buying deep OTM short dated calls and forcing the options writer to cover which also squeezes shorts. Then during the cover at the beginning of the day, the call buyer is selling their shares and their calls. TSLA is the most technical options bubble I have EVER seen. I have made 3x on a meme position buying the same calls. This is currently starting to make the rounds of fintwit so it might be a sign its running out of steam.
If I had seen this a week earlier it was a 1000x strat. Small time retail is making millions from the stupid TSLA bull because the big money is making billions from it.
If you are an absolute degenerate gambler, you could try to hop in next week but they are running out of these deep calls which is giving diminishing returns. If this turns against you it will happen FAST.
These options go out to 2022 so if this memestock crashes to ~500, there is all the possibility that there will be more pump and dumps in the future. What a market

Somebody please explain to me why BAYER isn't a fatastic buy for a long-term hold right now. It's current share price is still half of what BAYER was worth BEFORE its acquisition of Monsanto in 2016. Now, I understand that Monsanto is one of the most detested corporations to ever exist and it still faces some legal troubles in the US with potentially huge fines - but do investors seriously rate these liabilities to be worth more than all Monsanto assets and revenues and then still have enough toxicity to cut BAYER's original value in half? It just doesn't make sense, people won't stop eating bread because they don't like the company that supplied the seeds to the farmer who grew the wheat, especially now that the Monsanto brand is conveniently hidden behind the BAYER edifice.
Not to mention, BAYER also has a solid 4% dividend yield.

I'm not asking to be spoonfed, I'm just confused because I seem to be overlooking some absolutely major red flags but I can't find anything. Just tell me if I'm being retarded and need to keep doing research please.

I don’t get why he’s doing this.
WKHS has an FAA approved delivery drone system and mothership truck ready for purchase by customers.
Amazon does not.
It’s that simple.
Will amazon eventually get their shit together and get their drone delivery system working? I hope so. But by the time they do, they’ll see companies like WKHS and likely partner with them or outright buy them. They won’t try to reinvent the wheel.

Set up a website with a fake artist biography (you can always pretend that it's part of the art if somebody finds out), then offer your artwork for absurd prices (1.200$ limited series 3/24, charcoal on linen, Untitled) and throw a couple hundred dollars at internet ads to promote your site. Pretend like the site is already well established and call the ad "Summer Catalogue, now available". Name your website "The Greenblatt Galery" or something.

Eventually, some moron will buy one of your "pieces" and you'll recoup your investment in a single day. Keep faking it until you make it. If someone investigates, pretend to be your own secretary and tell everyone that the artist is very reclusive / has depression / a drug addiction (or a mixture thereof).

Don't use this >>20209206 under any circumstances, it looks too much like actual art but also too generic, like regular tatoo art. Your art must look like absolute dogshit and show nothing whatsoever so it seems believable that it's modern art. Once your scam is established you can lower your effort even more and graduate to selling blank canvases or shitting on them as part of your journey as an artist.

Keep detailed track of your scam activities with a video log in which you mock and degrade your buyers. After a couple of years, burn the Vlog on DVDs, call it your magnum opus and sell it for 200$ a copy.

Also blimps like that have been looked at for many years by companies like Lockheed for the military. They still aren’t practical enough for wide spread adoption and use.
I’m not saying WKHS is literally going to make amazon look like shit and start competing with them. I’m saying that as of right now, WKHS has successfully created a delivery drone system that is gov approved and literally ready to go. Amazon only has concepts, to say nothing of FAA approved systems to use. Therefore, I think it’s foolish to discount WKHS using the “amazon drones will be better” argument, because atm there are no amazon drones.

Yep. The flips have been making less and less money because they are hitting the call ceiling. This whole thing was possible because the spread went up 7x TSLA's low this year. Here is a picture of BAC's option spread. The 36c (and they only go up to 50c in 2022) is only ~50% of the current price. You simply can't do this with options that aren't retarded.
And again, TSLA's options have 2850c in Jun 2022. This trash crashes, they can re-accumulate shares again and repeat the whole process again if they want.

They source most of the parts and designs from companies like 3DR that were pushed out of the consumer space by DJI, but still operate in the commercial space selling drones made to client specs, critical components, and licenses for their mapping and imaging technologies. WKHS actually makes their own drones. They actually manufacture a vehicle that can deploy a drone. They actually have FAA approval completed. The one caveat to this, is that the drone projects are not wholly owned by WKHS, but a joint venture with another company. They sold the IP to another company and now serve as a collaborator, much like how they sold the W-15 truck IP to Lordestown which became the Endurance.
I am certain they will be awarded a significant portion of the USPS contract. They are one of only two American companies. Oshkosh's entry is based on the shitbox that is the Ford Transit. It's not a joint venture between Oshkosh and Ford like everyone believes either. Ford only provides the Transits; it's up to Oshkosh to modify them. WKHS also has been making and modifying GM truck and van platforms since 2008 when they were owned by Navistar and called Utilimaster. When the USPS first started the vehicle replacement program, Utilimaster was actually one of the companies competing for the bid before they became WKHS. Navistar shuttered the company, that was then purchased by Amp in 2005 to focus on last mile, electric delivery trucks.

Most brokers should have pages about the companies recent financial filings and summaries of the results. If not, larger companies typically list those same forms on their company websites.
Like everything though, you want to do the DD yourself since you are the only person you can trust with your money. Graham's Security Analysis is literally the bible for this and a good starting point. It is fucking tedious as you basically become an accountant, but your conclusions will be solid except if the financial documents are outright frauds.
Also, FA checked out in February and its still waiting to get back in.

It has to be a retarded TSLA bull. You don't write options for 2.1k calls when the stock itself is currently at $300 (most of last year). These 2.1k calls started at 0.01. Now because of these flips, they are worth "only" 0.25 (the highs have been as much as $1). So the money mover made 25x-100x multiple times on just the calls in addition to flipping accumulated shares at 300 for 1400 that the TSLA bull was forced to buy.
Options are only risky if you do truly stupid things and this was one of the dumbest.

Never liked weed too much, used to smoke a lot but then I cut it out because I wasnt happy and it made me paranoid and anxious. Same thing with acid when you take it you instantly realize things that you've been hiding from yourself.

Idk I havent tripped acid in a long time, I have a decent job, but I have a list of things I need to do. But when it comes to money acid always warps the way I think about money in my head sometimes not for the best that's why I tend to make sure I dont have access to a lot, but then again i was playing an online poker tournament before on acid on the way i was playing i couldnt tell if it was insane or extremely aggressive the other people were really taking their time trying to understand what i was doing, but i played perfectly and won 600 bucks.

Also, with all this electric car shit, why doesn’t anyone seem to know about BYD?

>BYD Co., the Chinese auto giant backed by Warren Buffett, is rushing to make China self-sufficient in the production of electric vehicles. On Monday, the firm said in a filing it has secured 800 million yuan ($113 million) in a Series A+ round for its chipmaking arm, BYD Semiconductor.

>At stake is the race to make so-called insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBT), an integral silicon component in EVs' power management system that's at the core of BYD Semiconductor. The electronic switch is dubbed by industry experts the "CPU of an EV" because it reduces power loss and improves reliability. It's the second-most expensive part of an EV after batteries, accounting for around 7-10% of the total cost, according to market research.

I think we are in agreement.
Timeline is probably like this. Big money mover (bank let's say) we will call B and memelord TSLA bull option underwriter we will call M:
1. M writes TSLA options to june 2022 that go up to 2250c, probably last year
2. B accumulates TSLA shares at ~300 in 2019 and 2020
3. B, starting in June, starts buying deep short dated OTM calls for 0.05 or less in batches of ~10000 (or 1000000 shares)
4. M has to start covering these calls (even if they expire worthless) at the beginning of the next day by buying shares
5. B waits for the beginning of the day to sell their old shares to M who has no idea who the seller is
6. This drives B's calls to 0.2 or even 1.00 in a flash which they immediately turn around and sell for 20-100x the premium they paid.
7. B keeps repeating this every day. M is now buying 300 dollar shares for 1500 in million share batches because of the calls.

If you're of the opinion that we're in a bubble, it'd be best to grab large cap tech and speculative positions.

You're falling for the FUD. Just think about it this way - Gold and silver's thesis is it's the alternative to fiat money as a store of value, as it's supply can not be increased or tampered with significantly as opposed to fiat's money printers. Stock market goes up? Because money printers are printing at every central bank. Stock market goes down? Jpow prints to try to save retirements. You win either way. Inflation? Gold performs as an inflation hedge. Deflation? Gold performs well in past deflations, and the central bank intervention to deflation is more printing. Remember that there's 1.6 Trillion ready to deploy in the Treasury's chequing account too.

My favorites have all 50% - 100% in the past two months. The downside risk of buying now is high, and there's a good chance of a pullback. Personally would wait, or hedge by buying a third of your position now. However if you don't mind volatility and don't want to potentially miss out, I like GoldMining, EMX Gold Royalties, Liberty Gold, PureGold Mining.

Puregold is probably the highest quality gold stock out there, but it's just run up 120% in the past 10 weeks or so so now's a painful point to buy in at.

Sure but at this price?
Right before earnings?

I only started watching and buying this one recently, so I haven’t seen it do earnings before, but the usual thing for hyped semis rallying into earnings is profit taking during and after earnings.

Because it falls into several
It’s a consumer staples play, so it’s relatively defensive and maybe a good play in a w shaped recovery, and it’s a staple of bars and restaurants so it should do well in the event of an eventual reopening.

I think a W shape was the one economists were most afraid of, worse than an L for some reason? Sorry to say that looks like it might occur. Fucking Texans, Arizonans, New Yorkers, losangelians, and Floridians.

Silver has not gone up much in comparison to gold, which is quite interesting because it is a seriously viable alternative, especially now that gold is so expensive.
It's pure speculation, but I wonder if people might start looking into silver instead if they're buying bullion in the name of getting rid of their fiat.

i admit i'd be hesitant to buy in now at this price. But when I did my DD and bought mid-June, I didn't give a shit about timing and just dropped a couple grand into it immediately (i'm just a student playing with corona money), this was after it pumped like $5 up at that time.

I'd hate to be in a position trying to buy into TSM right now because I am also very bullish in the price rallying upwards even more after earnings. But at the same time, doing any plays before earnings is always a dumb coinflip

No. People invest for returns and growth, Ford has neither despite being a relatively large company if you judge company size based on impact on the real economy.
If you put $1000 in Ford, you can expect less than that in 5 years. Pretty much any other stock can do you better.

It’s basically a defensive place to keep your money because yeah, people always need to buy shit.

But do they always need to buy Doritos and Pepsi, both from the fine people at PepsiCo? No, usually they can go out and eat whatever the restaurant serves. But right now... they’re probably buying plenty of snacks and comfort foods I’d guess.

First Majestic - Historically performed as one of the highest leveraged miners to silver's price. High liquidity, hedgies probably FOMO into this eventually. Great management, great company. Getting fucked by Mexican gov't for tax reasons, so uncertainty here.

Silver One - High quality property in safe jurisdiction in America

Alexco - Great jurisdiction in canada

Silvercrest - Great property

Silvercorp - Mine in china = cheap operating costs, but geo-political risks

Pan American Silver - Hedgies probably buy into this one, great guy running the company, great company

Aurcana - Great jurisdiction, production coming up soon, positive cashflow coming soon, exploration potential on property. debt free

Consumer staples are resilient to economic factors. Some call the sector consumer noncyclical meaning that if the real economy shits the bed that WMT, COST, PEP and friends will still have decent earnings despite the economic cycle. They live and die by their fundamentals which are often good.

I have no idea why I sold my costco, anon.
I think it's because that fucking chartist cramer had on the show who said it was going to do a whole lot of nothing for a while. (Cramer said he doesn't care, he's hanging on to the stock in his club, and he's probably right, why try to time it if you know it's a keeper?)
