it all falls apart if too many people decide to withdraw at the same time, or if 1 single whale decides to.
i saw the "solution" to this. it's that they just lock the remaining funds while its still overcollateralized, these funds then never become unlocked until more are deposited to pay for the revenue generated.

no. normal banks don't promise an insane 6.25% APY. That's why they are at a SIGNIFICANTLY lower risk of this happening.
If a whale deposits $10M and DMM takes 3 months to allocate all of that into assets to generate money
Then after 3.5 months the whale decides to take his money out
He will effectively be taking other peoples money as his money has not generated any revenue yet.
And on top of this, by him withdrawing his tokens he will effectively take $10.xx million dollars from DMM, putting them in an extremely tricky place with those assets they just acquired.

The system fails if anyone with a large amount of money deposits it and then attempts to take it out within a short-medium time frame. Whales MUST keep their money in it long enough. probably 12 months or more, for the revenue theyve earned to be actually real world revenue that their initial deposit which was used to buy more assets, actually generated.
