Is 10k of these DMG tokens enough to make it?

>> No.20145207

Depends on your definition of make it. If dmg reaches top 30 it’ll be around 15-20.

kek. 250M total supply, but it will take many years to release the total. lets just say for arguments sake that everything is circulating today... 250M supply at $100 a token would be a 2.5B marketcap. last bullrun, every token in the top 20 was over 2B MC. every token in the top 30 was over 1B.
not only is $100 dmg possible, it's probable imo. just depends on how patient you are. DEFI is going to be the theme of the next bullrun and DMM is going to rise fast and hard when the time comes. I'm comparing a the total supply to 2017's bullrun...but every bullrun tops out significantly higher than the last as well, so....expect to make money

>> No.20145922

I'm not usually one to accumulate coins for muh bull run....but desu, I'm starting to see signs that it's getting close again. really feels like late 2016 around here or early 2017. DEFI is def the winning play, so now really is the time to identify and load up on the winners.

im so confused how this thing is supposed to pay 6.75% by default even though the token price has quadrupled in days.
6.75% of what? ICO price?
and how do more assets gets acquired based on people fleecing eachother on exchanges. seems like a wonderful idea to unlock cash for loans, but I am having a hard time comprehending how a token that dramatically changes in value could be involved.

What are you talking about? Have you read the WP? DMM pays at the moment 6.25% (might be modified yearly in the future) to customers who deposit a currency (currently USD or ETH) to any of a number of DMM Accounts by swapping their money for a "stabletoken" that can be retrieved for the deposited currency+interest at any time.
The account - currently just three by Finova Financial, but the plan is to expand to pretty much all debt providers as they become able to hedge against risks - then uses that money to give out collateralized (secure in case of default) loans. They return money to the DMM Ecosystem at what is at the moment a ~10% rate, being able to keep the rest for their operational costs/profits. The DMM Ecosystem returns the savings rate to the customer, and the DMG holders get to decide what happens with the profits (reinvestment or dividends). The loan collateral and reserves are watched over by Chainlink oracles to guarantee appropriate use of funds, and this is expected to expand into the entirety of a DMMA provider's operations as traditional finance is better integrated with Chainlink.

no i cant read desu
this is interesting though
wont the token market cap end up DRAMATICALLY exceeding the deposited currency market cap?
did they really get enough deposited funds to buy up all these car loans?
what makes a voting interest so valuable? cant anybody can buy up these car loans and make the yield on their own?

>> No.20147878

>>20146561
The 6.75% is for liquidity providers who deposit ETH and so forth. Has nothing to do with DMG, which is the governance token. DMG is not the asset that will be deposited to provide liquidity.

You're off a digit.

250MM tokens to be 100 dollars is a 25B market cap. Still possible but is a loooonnnggg way off

>wont the token market cap end up DRAMATICALLY exceeding the deposited currency market cap?
It has to for it to even work. Once full transition to a DAO is complete, DMG will essentially be like a voting share in DMM. This means forming a coalition with 50% of DMG to seize 100% of the deposited currency to yourself should be unprofitable by orders of magnitude. Investors are aware of this.
>did they really get enough deposited funds to buy up all these car loans?
They didn't buy loans, these are the collaterals offered by Finova on existing loans. If they don't get enough deposited funds Finova just makes more of a profit on their end
>what makes a voting interest so valuable?
See the first answer. Also, dividends/token burns in the future. Right now it's 80% speculation, of course. This is a venture capital project through and through, but one that has the potential to be huge. It's kind of like how tech companies like Uber managed to run at a massive loss just for their sheer future potential.
>cant anybody can buy up these car loans and make the yield on their own?
In traditional finance, with all its opacity, insecurity, bureaucracies and limitations. There are money markets, and then there is DeFi Money Market (tm) which fits straight into your money lego.
