The catch is the possibility the overall market goes into a secular decline, e.g., Japanification or to a lesser degree we have another lost decade like in US equities between the years 2000 and 2013. These things happen and they're hard to predict.
If you have faith the US and world economy will generally head up in the next decade or two barring drops here and there and you also believe volatility will be under control then it's hard not to see the inevitable immense wealth to be derived from SOXL.
