it's 911 days until 1 Jan 2023, and you have 10k. Your target is $20MM. Therefore you have 911 days to make $19,980,000. Breaking it down further, you need to make $21,931.94 a day, including today, in order to achieve your goal. If you provide a 'service' for $100, you'll only need to provide it 219-220 times a day, every day, to make the kind of money you're talking about. But you can set your own price- if you go down on willing customers for $1200 a pop, then you only have to service 18.27 customers a day. Unfortunately, your asking prices have to contend with what the market will bear, which is $14 and a Watermelon Arizona iced tea. At this rate, you'll need to service over 1,566 willing clients a day (including, I will add, today). Fortunately there's good news: you don't consume the entire Arizona after helping a single client-- more like 1/10th of the can. So you can change your rate to $14.90 per client. This makes it so that you have to service only 1,471-1,472 paying clients, and you will have the benefit of consuming 147 full cans of Watermelon Arizona per day in addition to what is provided by your clients. This has a total calorie count of 290 calories per can, which is 27,930 calories per day- enough to sustain your job even if you're in the harshest of winter environments such as a northerly oil rig or walrus research station. This should be comforting news: you won't starve, and in fact may even gain weight.
In terms of timing, you'll be awake for 16 hours a day, with 14 of those hours being billable. Therefore, you'll need to service slightly over 100 clients an hour, which means that you'll need to work quickly.
But there's more good news.
You'll have the option of using your man-hole to add another client, and you may be able to charge a higher rate. I'm not doing the math on this because it's disturbing enough to think about (I mean, not for you, because it's your job), but it should help if you choose to go that way.
