It's laminated gold leaf. The coloring is on the laminate as far as I know. They're actually quite flimsy, not sure how they're supposed to hold up to circulation. But I mean, if it creases and the gold leaf cracks it still has X-ammount of gold in it.

If anything that further cements my long term prospects on PMs. Miners don't need to shutdown over Covid, restaurants, movie theatres, malls, and that other stuff does. It's a mild inconvenience VS all the infinite spending that will be done to combat the unemployment, riots and welfare cheques.

Many investors know this, and IF PMs dip substantially, it will not be long at all before they start breaking records again.

It's because investors were selling their assets like mad, trying to liquidate in order to avoid greater losses
If California shuts down, the biggest economy in the US, it's very likely it'll be even crazier this time
I could easily see gold and silver dropping even farther this time as well as for a longer period of time
And it may not even be the last time as quarantines may open then close again later
