I do not beleive this is considered legal tender anymore so it does well in the junk silver category. I remember being up north more than a decade ago & one of the gimmic shops had hundreds of coins in their showcases. I couldn't understand why anyone would want to pay nearly 15,000 for a coin.

This of course was before the towers came down. There was no major war for the West still. Peace & long term stability seemed endless. People were splurging on wacky things back then.

I'm considerinf buying 10oz Atlantis bars instead of the 5oz batboy coin. I realize having an actual coin base is going to be easier to trade in any market, but dang even that $20 - $30 difference kind of makes me want to purchase the brick instead.

I would consider buying some gold only after you have the ability to buy a house in the countryside. Currently trying to move my family out of the city. I dint want to be here in a city, but after making good money I moved back with the extended family. I never understood why our childhood home was set in the country. I dont think the generation above us ever thought another depression would come. The boomers thought they could trust the government for some reason resulting in a major housing boom that never accommodated for collapse scenario. The whole "trust your neighbors"

Not only that but your entire identity will be set in a digital tattoo. Your fund, access to buildings, access to your money, your social media, your social security number even.

Theyre really long term planning for total control over your body & asset scenario. Just a flick of their switch switch t h social credit scores they're going to try and turn people off completely from the social economic system.

This is when people are going to divide into 2 parallel systems of living. If a civil war happens it will be just prior to them launching this system (like in 4 years or less) or afterword when the burden no longer can be carried by the people living off the land with gold/silver/trading.

You always hear people saying "They can't do that. It will start a second Civil war". They push in waves so people back down for a time so the next generation will become comfortable with the non-existant freedoms their parents before them gave up until they're literal slaves or dead in the street.

it really depends on the area your working in and the gear you have. For example, there are homeless guys working the fraser rivers banks and getting about 3-4 grams a day. Thats not bad for manual hand mining. In general if your not on a major gold trend or gold carrying river your labors will likely not bear fruit. I'd go with the rounds. You'd be paying a 30% premium for those Silver Eagles and I very seriously doubt you'll get anything close to even a 10% premium when you sell. Assuming you're buying the rounds at 3% over spot and eventually sell at 6% *below* spot, that doesn't come close to making up for the 30% price differential.

That said, ASEs are my favorite silver bullion coin. But from a purely financial perspective, the deal you're being offered very clearly favors the rounds. The ASEs are ridiculously overpriced.

Thank you frens. Just started in Feb/March, I was convinced the markets would tank and society would crumble and wanted to short but was too brainlet to know how to do it effectively with options, and wasnt sure there would be a world left to cash out to desu.

I opted to go for the gold and have been very pleased with it. I still stay up some nights imagining how much I could have If I had shorted at the top like I wanted to, ended up with a few hundred grand AND THEN bought gold and silver with it. It's ok though I made the right play with the information I had available at the time, and wuflu turned out to be a total nothingburger relative to what it seemed like it would be. I've actually had it twice, and it's literally nothing. The only thing that pisses me off is that I cant smell or taste for the last 2 weeks. I got it also late last year (was wayy stronger then) and ended up with inflammatory arthritis from some strange autoimmune reaction and hurt for a few months but it's fine now. This made in China bullshit is weaker than all their other knockoff crap.

I have been throwing every last cent I can towards gold and silver now. I'm going to sell some things I dont use anymore like my oculus quest, and maybe a laptop or two this weekend to fund more purchases hehe. Trying to find a reliable source for some Hydroxychloroquine but I'm in Cali (which is why I got it twice, fucking homeless are spreading it everywhere)

The old timers sunk shafts and kept them drained with massive water wheel pumps that moved millions of gallons a week. They also would mine out relief cuts to let the ground de stress in places so it would not fail in their working area. However, this all failed, the miners barely got out of the main shaft in time to watch it all cave in summer 1965. Companies have tried everything from freezing the ground, pumping cyanide down and pulling up the pregnant solution, undermining below the pay layer too, but nothing has worked. The gold of Wingdam, all 590 million dollars of it, will likely stay there.

Aren't nickles and quarters basically garbage for CRH?

It's POSSIBLE that the gov't would get rid of pennies in the future, if/when inflation ramps up. They're bullshit that probably consumes more resources coining and counting out for giving change than benefits. You could MAYBE see the gov't letting you melt pre-1982 pennies, potentially doubling their value, but quarters? I don't see that happening.

Frens want their frens to make it and help each other when needed but do not allow bad actors to take our focus away. However, each one of us is in a different situation and holds different views, values and ideals. These things should not be reasons to hate each other or to shit on other frens' goals. I'm not going to look up this company on those organizations' web sites but that's something you should do.

That said, if you've got a credit card that you're certain will protect you from a fraud, this place looks like it's worth a shot. It's selling ASEs below the spot price of silver.

Based. I think the Walking Liberty coins are most beautiful that you can easily get. I used to think ASE's were most beautiful until I saw a Walking Liberty in my Father's stack and realized they were based on them. Same engraver as Mercuries too.

The most important thing to do is not be clueless about its value. Look at the spot price for gold on the day you sell, ideally on multiple exchanges. After that, make a few phone calls to local coin shops and on-line bullion dealers such as APMEX, JM Bullion, etc. Some companies with web sites will actually post their buy prices for gold.

Understand that for a given coin, any dealer will sell at a higher price than they buy. Do not be angry or insulted. That is necessary for them to stay in business. Typical premiums for sovereign coins are anywhere from 3% to 6% over spot price when you buy and 0% to 3% premium over spot price when you sell.

Once you have all that information, including quotes from dealers, pick one of them to sell to.

What's stoppig me from buying a shitload of coins from a super cheap dealer and selling them to some ultra expensive dealer and make instant profit then?

Try it. That is, indeed, easy money but you have to find such an arbitrage opportunity. Lots of luck.

Your spread is going to be cents per coin and good luck if spot goes down while you’re waiting on delivery

I should add something else. If you sell on Craig's List, eBay, or wherever where you're in a sense acting as a dealer, you'll almost certainly get a better sale price than if you sell to a coin shop or bullion dealer. Of course, you're earning that higher price because you have to find a buyer and you have to deal with the risk of potentially selling to a bad buyer.
