Okay, let's have a serious discussion about how government entities will try to fuck XSN over.

It's just a matter of time until the XSN dex will be the de facto platform for money laundering, illegal substance trading, black market trading, and all kinds of illegal money flow.

So how susceptible will it be to government intervention realistically? Let's say governments start outlawing the hosting of an XSN masternode and threatening anyone hosting a masternode with jail time for facilitating money laundering or something like that. How would that affect the network? Would you be willing to take the risk of hosting an MN in that situation?

Also the non-kyc exchange with massive liquidity will no doubt paint a large target on the back of XSN and its devs.

Concerning the devs. When DEX is upgrade to the masternodes it will be unstoppable. No dev will be able to shut it down even under death pressure.

Only way to change something will be by masternode community votes.

That's a fucking Hydra man, cut one head two grow back.

fee earnings from dex will be sufficient incentive for hosting MNs. if some leave due to legal issues the incentive becomes larger for opportunists

Literally TOR. All of that happens over TOR already, and one of their biggest investors is the US government. The same goes for Monero. And even if they took a different approach to XSN, the team is already working on one-click TOR integration, so the masternode network and all DEX traffic can run seemlessly over the TOR network. There's literally fuck-all the US government/SEC can do. Just like with every other money laundering honeypot in crypto, they'll be focused on blockchain analysis and tax auditing to bust the major players.

>The Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it.
We actually believed that nonsense in the late 1990's. Unstoppable free speech and all that shit.

You young whipper snappers believe DEXes for money laundering are above the law. Is oke.

yes

But can’t analyse blockchain data when done over Lightning Network which again is why this will make this DEX so popular with those wishing to hide their assets and gains from the tax man as there is zero trail which they can follow apart from cashing out to fiat which there are ways around

>> No.20068064

>>20067977
Again, that's been true of Monero for years. Have they been shut down? People still get busted using it for illicit things all the time, because they make stupid mistakes. And as long as there's no significant way to convert crypto to fiat without going through a KYC exchange, there is, again, fuck-all the US government can do. Local bitcoins, local monero, agora desk, etc allow cash-by-mail sale of crypto, but they haven't been shut down. Again, the feds use them, darknet markets, etc as a honeypot to entrap the big players. Shit, when the FBI gains control of a darknet market, they'll keep running it just to gather names, addresses, etc, and the people who run TOR nodes are still doing nothing wrong. Legality is not an issue here, and all this talk of the "SEC coming after XSN" is just fear mongering.

Assuming you're right, if it pulls off what it's planning to the run up to it actually being the de facto laundering platform would be astronomic, will probably go straight to $10 and beyond. So we're looking at a 50x and up regardless which be more than enough to sell and make it if you don't wanna hold a MN

What is the current problem of a money laundering drug dealer? It can't cash out big sums trought exanges because they require KYC?
