Gold has only been at a higher price than it is right now for 22 days in all of human history vs the US dollar, and is at an all time high vs any other fiat currency

I like equities, crypto and PMs...they all have a time to excel. I just don't understand the neckbeards who choose one or more to hate on.

Gold vs Dow is still very bullish for gold, even with the recent leg upwards for gold and the downward leg for the Dow.
The total dollars vs gold has never been higher.

Gold is significantly undervalued even if we do not get any serious economic troubles ahead, which we are very likely to get.

The dollar price of gold is fucking IRRELEVANT. Why in the fuck would you be valuing gold in terms of dollars when it was fucking gold that gave value to the dollar?

The entire point in buying gold is so you have money and wealth for when the dollar collapses and that’s when you “make it.”

Gold is REAL SAVINGS. It is not an investment like amazon stock. The dollar price of gold going up is not the same thing as the dollar price of amazon stock going up.

Did gold all of a sudden become valuable when America was born and the dollar was created? If not then the dollar value of gold means nothing.

I agree. The gold vs btc debate is actually irrelevant. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. The marketcap of crypto could go to 100 trillion and it wouldn’t make gold any less valuable.

We need to break $1800.
We are so close.
Do you think the whole inflation thing is the primary reason for what will push us to the the $3000 mark?
$3000 is a massive jump from $1800.

Everyone treats gold like a tradable stock.

Gold is it's own asset class. It is real stability when the world is going crazy.

Think about it where would you put your money now if you had to leave it there and forget it for 10 years? Stonks? Treasuries? USD? Foreign Currency?

The USD as we know it is being zimbabwed out of existence. AMZN stonk will go to a $TRILLION but that will only be enough to buy a bag of rice.

Gold will just be sitting there watching, waiting while people are losing their minds wheelbarrowing in money for bread.

My net worth is almost entirely in BTC but I still 100% see value in diversification. This kind of tribalism reminds me of idort threads on /v/, allegiance to one asset class for arbitrary reasons limits your possibilities for upside. Many such cases
