Even spookier to realize how long this kind of gold fakery has been going on for. I'm not really suspicious of anything in 10 oz denominations or less, but anybody with big bars has got to be sweating their dicks off about how many of them have a chocolate filling instead of being all creme.

That's what I read, too. It's a "private" company creating gold-plated copper bars to use as collateral for loans. I have read nothing indicating that the fake bars were purchased from the Chinese government or from the Shanghai gold exchange.

It seems like this fraud was entirely perpetrated by the fraudulent company run by the ex-PLA crook. I remember seeing a table where about $1BB of fake gold was pledged as collateral for $500MM of loans. That right there should have signalled to the someone that something was wrong.

It's unbelievable that the west has not turbocharged their efforts--if there are even efforts being made--to stop doing any sort of business with China. Nothing good is gained by doing business with a country that is utterly rotten to the core.

One other thing of interest to people here is that this Chinese incident is yet another example why the USD is highly unlikely to totally crater or be replaced by another reserve currency in the near future. To topple the US, there must be an entity that is capable of taking in trillions of dollars of foreign investment while also having a somewhat trustworthy legal system.

China's economy is arguably large enough, assuming it's not all fake, but no one in his right mind would trust Chinese money or Chinese laws.

At the moment, the only real contender to the US is the EU. However, the EU does not have EU bonds (it's got German, French, Greek, Spanish, etc. bonds and they're not all of the same quality) and it's questionable how much foreign investment the EU can handle.

How's it going, boys? I finally hit my stack target today, a little silver heavy due to meme coins but close to my target ratio of 1:100 gold:silver.

I'll be holding now watching my gains or ready to buy a dip. I'd buy more gold if I could get under $1750 w/ premium or more silver under $20. If it crabs I'll just pick up some silver on sale every once in a while to keep the consoom at bay.

Hoping we get more discussion of miners, in particular financial analysis of specific miners so we can figure out which ones are most undervalued.

Guys is constitutional silver aka "junk" silver the thinking mans choice for stacking?

>Pros
Lowest premiums.
Widely recognized. (in the US)
Fractional meaning moving, using and selling is easier.
Low counterfeit risk due to the relatively small value of individual coins and need to apply aging to replicas.
90% alloy means more durable for actual use.

>cons
doesn't trigger magpie brain
Harder to melt into .999 pure silver

I don't think the gubment gold is fake, you don't mess with the central power down there. Moreover most of their central bank's bullion directly come from their mines, i believe gold mines in China aren't allowed to sell outside the country. So it's very easy for the CCP to constantly verify the minting process.

But everything else (like those collateralized bars)? A good chunk of it is surely fake, if not most of it. Tbf, i think it's not a chink-only issue, even if those greedy fucks probably push it to the extreme, imho a lot of gold held by private institutions all around the world are full of tungsten. That's super bullish for gold, but even more bullish for reputable sellers, because now everybody but gullible retards will be afraid of purchasing their gold from questionable sources.

Also what shocked me the most in the ZH article isn't the fake bars, but how the same bars are collateralized to many different institutions/hedge funds. This is fractional reserves pushed to a whole another level of scammery. Our system really is built on fucking hot air, and the smart ones are the ones alrdy asking to withdraw physical, because i wont be suprised if only 1%, or less, of the collateral bullion really exist, just like for ETFs.

Quartz is the bringer of gold, it brings wealth from the earths burning heart to the near surface. If there is quartz it means there will likely be gold nearby. Now quartz with minerals like pyrite or galena, now your looking at good stuff. Gold wears an iron hat, they are deposited at the same time.

That statement is contradictory. Unless it's a fraud (and you know it's going to be a fraud being that it comes out of China), the Chinese cannot release a decentralized cryptocurrency that is the reserve currency for international trade settlement yet somehow have control of the global economy.

Contradiction aside, the one thing that the CCP will never cede is control over everything. You see it in the "private" Chinese companies, you see it in the "joint" ventures foreign companies are required to enter to do business in China, you see it in the capital controls China erects to prevent money from fleeing. There is no way in hell the CCP will ever have a decentralized currency. If the Chinese yuan, digital or not, becomes the primary world reserve currency, it will be fully controlled by the CCP.

Read up on how to actually find gold, there are many books on the subject of gold panning / prospecting. Know the different metals / minerals gold hangs out with. The more info you have the better your chances of hitting it big. The only other equipment i would recommend is a "sniffer" bottle, its used to suck up fine gold in pans. You can find them in drug stores. Try and find prospecting info based on your local area specifically, it will help a ton.

That Chinese company is toast already. They owe far more than they could ever raise in capital. Remember they are passing off bars of copper as bars of gold. A good delivery bar of 400 troy ounces has an approximate value of $720,000. That same 400 troy ounces (about 27 pounds) in copper is about $74 ($2.75/pound). That's a 10,000x difference in price.

Consider that the company owes one of its biggest creditors $500M backed by $1B of fictitious gold ($100,000 of real copper). There is no way that Chinese scam is going to survive. Put a fork in it, it's finished. The only question remaining is if the CEO has enough political capital left with his old PLA cronies to save his crooked ass.

The Donlin Project is a bulk tonnage gold / silver / copper project situated in southwest Alaska. Its one of the largest proposed open pit mines in Alaskan history. You can read up on its resource estimate here. https://www.novagold.com/_resources/reserves_resources.pdf?v=3.5 The project is massive, has full backing from local native communities and over all seems like an excellent buy. Novagold however did recently come under fire from an outside investment organization accusing the company of basically fraud but nothing is proven, the geologic reports look sound to me, but I have no relation to the project its self.

>> No.20043764

It's not huge amounts of money. At 18 dollars per ounce, buying up the entire year's supply of silver from the mines would be a whopping 18 billion dollars. That amount of money is printed in a day by the US government and financial institutions manage TRILLIONS of dollars of assets. Institutions putting 1% of 1% of their managed money into physical silver would break the world's supply many times over.

Don't forget that five trillion dollars per year of paper silver contracts are traded on the comex. Five trillion dollars are spent keeping the paper price down, it would only take 18 billion in physical deliveries to break it.

>4th of July sale

You will need to survive the antifa communist globohomo purge first.

>for months the nation has an average of 2000% increase in fireworks nuisance noise complaint calls
>despite lockdowns and decreased firework sales
>no one knows why
>conspiracies forming
>then videos of people finding secret unused fire work stashes around various cities and towns
>just like stashes of bricks and molotovs during the riots and looting
>plot thickens

Theory goes that enemy elements in the country and getting citizens used to fireworks which sound like gun shots. So that when 4th of July comes and gun shots start happening everyone just ignores it. Also these months of fireworks was to test the police response times, the tolerance levels of people, and to see if police even respond to complaints. Areas with little calls complaints or police presence are targeted for purge level event.

Defunding police and all these police walkout and officers quitting only add to the problem. Towns are already pledging not to call 911 for things like the one wealthy town in either Minneapolis or Maryland with a 300+ homeless tent city that popped up in their private park with prostitutes and drug dealers.

We will see. Stay safe bros.

Here's a tip. Stack the coins on a table and then put the tube over the coins and press down on the tube. It's much easier and neater that way (the orientation of the coins will be consistent if you're into that sort of thing.)

Pandas are shit. They've only been 30g instead of the full 1oz since 2015. If you want any pandas, stick to the full ounce ones. Even if they're pure, which they'd have to be, since fake pandas would kill China's rep immediately, they still have to meddle and find some way to cheap out, so they cut the weight.

>> No.20055348

>>20055293
They'd have been better off uping the weight to 1 tael and then charging a higher premium.
