It's really that bad. Sorry. Would love to help, but I think you should do what I suggested. Spend the $30/month and reach out to a recruiter on LinkedIn and get some feedback. This is an unhireable resume, honestly. It's clear you have some skills, I'll update below.
>>20037402
If you're in "IT" it doesn't really matter. A guy works above me that didn't finish high school and he's beyond brilliant. Literally an autistic psycho, but brilliant and does his job. Degrees mean nothing if you'r exceptional.

Sounds like you're not selling yourself right. You should expect at least a call back from 50% of the jobs you apply to, otherwise you're not modulating your resume per job. You're literally getting filtered out.

>trained in... it and it management
Like what? What specifically? Softwares, tasks, what
>social media setup
what specifically, need buzzwords so people searching for your resume can find you have skills

What did you improve or create while you were at the jobs? Give numbers like "improved growth from 1% per year to 3% per year" or "created new focus method to solve specific problem"

>mapping assistant
How many maps did you draw edit or detail?

I would use bold or larger text for the main stuff, like job titles. Need space? At the bottom of resume you have a lot of white space but one column that extends, trim that down, combine things, get rid of fluff, add another column, reorganize

>I have volunteered
if you want to discuss this at all then you need to add details like where, hours worked, organizations.
do you really want to take up precious interview and call time talking about volunteering if it's not very related or useful to the job you applied for? no? something to think about, even though volunteering is great.

If you have enough experience your resume should be two pages. All that education, community, volunteer stuff can go on the back.

I hail from a top 20 school, but have huge gaps on my rez b/c I was day trading stock and crypto.

although i do think you've touched on a much deeper issue. if you apply for a job that has hundreds of applicants. then HR will literally find any reason to throw away your resume.

to be fair, i haven't had much luck getting a job when a hundred + people apply for it. but i've heard from friends who have to hire people, most the time, the most qualified people will either demand more money or have already got another job.
then HR is like oh, guess we couldn't find anyone we'll have to hire our super liberal gender-queer friend for the job...

>gap
If anyone asks about a fucking gap ignore the call. Seriously. Anyone asking "why you weren't employed" during a certain period of time means you're setting yourself up with a completely fucked company. People don't work for tons of reasons,
>laid off
>sick parents
>learning new skills
>tired of the rat race
>raising a child
>traveling
>volunteer work
And guess what? None of these answers are good enough in their eyes. Move along. Trust me.
>>20038689
>will literally find any reason to throw away your resume
And guess what, bigger companies' prerogative is to do just that. If they find your resume is just as qualified as another, and they snoop both of you on Google;
>A) political slut
>B) no info
Guess what, they're going with B.

i get asked about gaps in my resume, i tell them oh i was working do this or that. and i got a old resume with all the dates on it if you actually care.
and they usually just laugh and say no, we just want to be able to say you were working.

i grew up in a liberal city, and i shit you not, HR would literally not hire people with private social media accounts, because they knew you were a republican lol
so yeah you got to be careful about your online presence

Last thing I'll say about this stupid fucking post is that you should really consider the job search more of like dating than some dry emotionless streak. There is SO MUCH to learn in the way you interview, the way you interact with superiors, etc. It's insane how complex it can be and it all starts with gaining some experience. That said, experiment. Take interviews you have no interest in, submit 'test' resumes to jobs outside of your skill group. Good luck anon.
