>What do we do now?
Everything is up in the air at the moment. We're definitely waiting for our pool contributors to be refunded. We also need to wait and see how Statera will be pooled going forward, whether through Balancer or otherwise. Keep in mind the devs are in this with us. We've dealt with FUD from day 1. We've passed an audit. We've survived a schism and continue to rebuke they who shall not be spoken of. We will work through this.

The STA(actually STA2), STAC, STA3(actually STA4) incident created a lot of genuinely angry bitter and insane bastards for both STA and Stonks.

Uhh STA created a lot of butthurt because most STA1 holders had their tokens reduced to just 15% or 20% of their ATH price when they got refunded in STA3, BTC, ETH, Chainlink, SNX.
Anyone who sold at STA1 at ATH or even before would have had 5x or 6x of the STA3 tokens they have now. They were really pissed off because they said they'll hold STA1 and come back till December or whenever the bullrun begins to see their earned millions.

They got pissed off because they were early but those who got in a bit later ended up with far more STA than the super early adopters. Kinda like now with people buying STA3 for cheap.

>noke, ghost toast, retrogram, exodious, QE, etc are known to organize slimy backstabbing operations on projects
>most notable is the ETHx scam which this entire group shilled massively for a cool 100k profit
>they suddenly make their own STA copy called STONKS
>STA is sold for STONKS at an utterly inorganic rate = massive whales transferring their coins to STONKS
>none of the whales pool STONKS
>no whale is bullish on STONKS despite shilling it as the better pool as STA = 100% insider information

Next time don't panic sell. Don't be impulsive with how you do this. If you swing everytime /biz/ goes nuts over something you're bound to buy high sell low and become a meme. Don't use the current state of the board as an indicator of what you should and shouldn't do, most of it are just memes. The FUD for this token is already high as is, that turmoil was to be expected. As much as it might hurt you should at least be patient and wait to see what happens because it'll hurt more if you don't, if it crashed already it's not like you had much more to lose. At least wait to see what happens or what's going on, folks here went insane within an hour of it happening with their FUD and LARPs. Don't let pink wojaks and mockery cause you to panic and sell, you should always be patient and DYOR first (like checking etherscan or seeing what the devs are saying). This was definitely a bump in the road but we will carry on nevertheless.

Not going to lie, I panic sold. It wasn't the fud though, just the knowledge that I lost a lot of money in the pool, and probably going to lose the rest of it. I got out with my initial (minus the money in the pool obviously) but the price was already much higher when they announced reimbursement so I bought back in with a much smaller stack. My problem has always been that I have diamond hands and never sell, and then something bad happens and I lose all gains

It's understandable, I'd be lying if I said I didn't contemplate it, but I let my better judgement guide me rather than the initial panic and impulse (strong hands hodl on tight). I don't think you were wrong to do it though, you did what you thought was best with the info you had. But hindsight is 20/20 as they say, you might think you were a fool for it but it wasn't necessarily a foolish decision at the time, even if it was an impulsive one.

Yeah, lots of mainstream crypto community eyes on STA ever since the hack. And i must say, statera's community is composed of a bunch of tough motherfuckers. They believe in the project's massive potential and have stuck by despite massive setbacks. The pay off will be soon and it will be astronomical anons. Remember that the pool isn't active there now to dampen out pumps/dumps meaning price is incredibly sensitive to buying/selling and the upcoming news and refunds being transferred is going to trigger a massive fucking pump.

The STA community was overwhelmingly positive since the earliest threads, one of the best thing they have going for them imo. Scotts lucky Balancer picked up the tab this time for him rushing out the token. Hes lucky people are still even posting about STA that isnt "I have no faith left in the dev team and STA's ability to reach even a ROI price for me".

The moon mission ain't dead, this was just like the Challenger accident for Nasa. Made them get their safety protocols and rocket design shit together. However they fuck anything up again from this point, all good will will dissolve, imo
