"lab-made" gold is just essentially purified gold, it doesn't create any more gold.

They mine about 3% more gold out of the earth every year, that is the supply inflation.

But commodity values have bottomed out, so gold right now is really cheap compared to where it has in the past once you take into account currency inflation.

If you had a gold mania like 1980 you could easily see $20k+/oz.

How the fuck can you make gold in a lab? The only way is buy mining it or separating it from gold containing compounds.
