Varies pretty wildly. I do a lot of automation work to eliminate repeatable, manual tasks. Lately I've been helping build a test environment for our enterprise password manager. Also looking to automate de-provisioning across our unix/linux environment for employees who leave the company. So much work to be done at these huge, bloated companies, and everything moves slowly, but I enjoy the subject matter and am learning a lot.

I don’t know how that would happen or what that would mean. Maybe I should check him out?

Everyone’s got predictions on how this ends terribly because it’s never been done before. But a country thats debt is denominated in the currency it issues can have pretty good control over its debt and inflation.

>>19968505
>Mmmm, but these guys need inflation to get out of control due to their liabilities as well. The debts need to be serviced and everyone is choking on over competitive dollars (too much credit expansion).
Maybe they do need inflation, but do they really need it to get out of control to the point where the rape hikes become absolutely necessary? Once these companies are able to return to profitability, couldn't they refinance, as the market (and banks?) would be much more willing to loan money to companies after they are profitable and even growing again?
Some may not be able to, and that is when the creative destruction of defaults could occur, erasing the “moral hazard” that some have been complaining about?

I forgot this wasn't /pol/ but, who gives a fuck about (((entertainment))) anymore, I only watch 2 things, Joe Rogan and rocket league videos, anything else is literally trash, every show with an interesting plot will eventually become SJW nightmare, faggots, niggers, lesbians and if directors don't comply into turning their script in to something more "progressive" they get mob ruled by a bunch of pink haired faggots on Twitter.

I can't even watch Ted talks anymore because they turned that shit in to black transgender studies there is only monkeys patronizing white idiots on how systematic racism and white privilege is destroying America, whites are afraid to talk against all this negro centric trash because they have seen this nigger nazis destroying anyone who even dares questioning any of this none sense.

To me is fucking amazing how fucking dumb the average nigger is that the only thing they can discuss without looking like a complete and utter fucking sub human is slavery, rosa parks and all that stupid shit because if you try to engage in any other topic like economy for instance they have no fucking idea what to say, all their lives revolves around negro studies, how much of a victim they're and how we are supposed to bend over backwards so they'll succeed, even if we have to dumb our selves down to include them on everything cus other wise you're racist and shit

If I sold 20 7.50 puts at .90 that's $1,800 basically towards the purchase of 2,000 shares I want to have anyway. And the $15k isn't even an actual cost it's collateral that I HOPE gets called away.

It isn't a ton of money but I'm having trouble seeing the risk. USAC isn't a shitcoin either it's relatively stable. So I could even sell some higher shirt term puts, let them get assigned, then sell covered calls on those while collecting dividends.

Again, not a ton of money but I'm having trouble seeing the risk.

> I never said hoax
Fair enough, you didn’t. You said it had peaked before lockdowns. That’s nearly as crazy as calling it a hoax.
Many countries actually managed to bring the virus under control, the US isn’t one of them. Notably, countries that have are either very controlled by the state (strict lockdowns) or have very conformist and well educated populations (social distancing taken seriously, e.g. Norway). But the US only managed to put a dent into the spread and it’s clear we can’t afford more lockdowns and that both the left (floyd protests) and right (re-open protests) are too dumb to take it seriously enough to stop the spread, even when hospitals recently went over capacity on only the most modest foothill of the upcoming mountain of covid hospitalizations.
There’s no need to quibble anymore. It’s inevitable now. You’ll see I’m right soon enough. It’s too late and Americans are too dumb. I’m just sitting back and beholding the mounting panic among people who actually thought there would somehow not be millions of dead Americans and overwhelmed hospitals for a year. Sure, most (75%) will be old, over 65. You won’t die. But millions will. It’s one thing to accept facts and numbers and shrug, but pretending they are not true should be a little below the intellectual ambition level of this general.

Am I the only one who thinks the virus IS bad, and shutdowns WERE a decent policy decision (especially considering how they fucked it up and didn't stockpile PPE and testkits), BUT it still provided the perfect opening for the politicians to force use the fed to line the pockets of the top .00001%?

>>19979885
>We got it wrong and now we’re largely tracking it wrong

OK
but this doesn't DISprove that rates of infection are rising. I suspect they are, and it's not just that our data is bad. We have people trying to "return to normal" which is what people have done during most crises throughout time.

You're bias is pretty clear there, you're noticing the posts you disagree with and identifying them as the "paid" subverters. There's also PLENTY of people posting about it being a nothingburger scam. Our most retarded and cancerous avatar-poster is happy to come in to tell you there's no such thing as the coronavirus.
And honestly I've never seen that retard be right about anything.

The reaction was inverse of what was rational. They should have shut down airports and cruise lines earlier and enforced mask wearing and similar measures. Instead they kept international travel open and told masks were useless. And then they committed economic sudoku, instead of just sacrificing airlines and cruise lines.

Yes. They couldn't do that though because they had planned to "let it rip" if trumps words are to be believed. Then, after letting the rest of the world buy up the masks and tests and other PPE,

I don't understand why they didn't close travel with Italy earlier, and I suspect it has to do with Trump's need to target china.

The guys at the top of Carnival Cruises gave trump courtside seats to The Heat game and donated to his campaign and sponsored episodes of The Apprentice and had Melania christen one of their ships. I think that could be relevant.

But really, he really really didn't take it seriously until the shutdown was, to my thinking, necessary.

Basically along with reducing the particle spread. Humidity improves some natural protection mechanisms of protection.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2034399/

I believe it is the "mucus" but not exactly sure how I remembered it right. again i try to maximize speed of intake of knowledge and compress all this shit, I don' treally focus on transmissible to others so I don't really care about exact words

Basically The mucus in your throat/nose or whatever is improved by humidity and it helps offer a natural protection from such airborne virus, while a dry throat / nose will hurt your ability.

So a hot/humid environment is very beneficial for many many reasons

- more probiotic bacteria alive on surfaces that competes with the virus
- mucus functions better
- air transmission is worse

etc

So yeah humidification actually would reduce R0

my friend, you worry me that you are simply being contrarian. If we had let it rip and expected americans to take their own precautions, our deaths would look worse than sweden's. Our hospitals would have been filled with corpses, and relatively healthy people would have been unable to get medical attention. We'd probably have people dying of appendicitis and shit.

At that point, it was too late. We didn't want to look like Ecuador.

Do we know yet how many people are going to require a lifetime of dialysis, or was that just a temporary thing?

She was laying down and he asked if she wanted a massage. She said sure, and he started off massaging her leg, and then up her thighs. A week or so later, he was drunk and laid down next to her, and told her he liked her. She then felt uncomfortable with everything, and he asked her to not tell anyone what happened. Again thinking back, it felt like he tried to take advantage of Lily when she was in a really vulnerable state.
