I'm importing a variety of candied flowers which I am going to sell to hotels, bakeries and restaurants.

Wholesale price is €46/Kg. Shipping cost per Kg is €6 and VAT is 5%. Overall the item cost is €54.

I currently have another job so I don't have any other expenses (storage, overhead costs etc). Is a 20% margin enough? Should I add more? There is currently no competition to this product in my country and I don't know how much to price it.

Run some trials with them priced at different intervals. You might find that pricing them higher doesn't actually reduce the demand. Good example is candy bars. Many places sell at 2$ instead of 1$ because they will sell the same at either price point

Ive had like three businesses in my life. From dropshipping, to website development and shipping.

U find out how much it costs to do business. How much does it cost to deliver goods, do u hand deliver or just use usps? How much per kg to ship/ deliver?

If ur only over head is the shipping delivery party anywhere between 300-750% mark up is recommended. This is needed to 1. pay your self. 2. buy more inventory 3. put money aside for rainy day.

also what do your competitors charge? these are all factors inconsideration of ur pricing scheme.
