Unity/Liberty round by Envela.
Hard to find, but there are a few secondary market rounds floating around ebay. The official ebay store for Envela/DGSE doesn't sell the rounds anymore, but they do have the 10oz bar version still. The ebay seller for Envela/DGSE has an amateur-sounding name, but I called around and verified that that is the actual ebay outlet.

I'd like to get one of the rounds, but I don't want to pay $30 for an oz. I'm thinking about getting one or two of the bars, because $21.xx/oz is reasonable these days... but then I would really want to get one or two of the matching rounds before they disappear entirely. There is a missing piece to the puzzle in the infographics from >>19952649 etc. If a PM backed currency is to be reinstated, then the govt would have to confiscate all PMs from private citizens and the general market first. It's been done before, and it can be done again, and just like FDR making it illegal to own PMs, they could this before the transfer. So, my stacking is for the govt in the future...not a great deal.

>> No.19956032

But you at least understand my problem here. If you extrapolate from the position that the US is going to go silver-backed $, then several things have to happen before:
1) Confiscate all silver from the free market and replace with old fiat and make holding silver illegal temporarily.
2) Calculate total held against foreign markets to create new PM-backed currency.
3) New currency tied directly to silver allows silver to be bought once again.

Hell, if this happened it would be more useful to hold foreign currency because at least that wouldn't be confiscated...but if that devalued as well due to a new USD, then maybe not. Why would the govt let people keep something that is going to back the dollar? It doesn't make sense.

>>19955849
Is there evidence for this? Also, which 30%? The super rich, or the pleb?

>>19955856
I'm not saying it wouldn't be difficult. I'm trying to understand the strategy here.
1) All holdings of PMs in banks, safety deposit boxes, and bullion storage facilities could easily be confiscated by the gov because of records and shit. Govt could easily force banks to open deposit boxes, so that's that.
2) Going door to door? Not sure about this one. maybe they'd have to do it through reports on taxes first, then go door to door search. I can imagine a few people fighting to the death over this...

>>19955958
Why wouldn't it be true? Think about it. You're a govt about to destroy a fiat currency and replace it with one backed by a PM. In a 'democracy', it wouldn't be 'fair' to the citizens (and they'd see the inequity of this) to have some people survive well because of dumb financial luck in investing and others go to starvation levels. Furthermore, if you want to keep the peace of the citizens, you'd have to prevent a situation where they'd be fighting house to house or on the streets robbing anyone who has a hint of PMs. In order to do this, you have to confiscate the material BEFORE the changeover. Make sense?

Keep in mind 100 years ago it was much harder to keep track of these things. Communities were much more isolated and regional authorities had more autonomy.

Now while compliance would still likely be quite low the problem is how do you actually move your metals. Gold might be at 30k an ounce but if you try to sell any of your coins you're likely to end up in jail or least lose your gold and face a fine.

Yeah but he is saying "would have to confiscate" and that isn't true, you wouldnt have to confiscate PMs to go to a gold or silver backed currency. If you had a redremable PM standard, you could simply print more bills when gold and silver walk through the door of your friendly treasury vault location. It would be far easier than trying to get an entire nation to be cool with you stealing from them.

Both spot on.

I've been listening to a lot of Schiff lately, as he seems to be the authority on this concept of fiat replacement. While he will talk at length about the confiscation and banning of holding PMs in the past, he doesn't seem to consider this possibility in a future revamp of the economy.

Help me out here if I'm wrong, but my understanding of his position is that:
Hyperinflation -> govt creating silver backed dollar -> current holders of silver will be fine and everyone else falls into hell.

If the govt that is planning this (using JPM holdings of silver), wouldn't they recognize the problem? If fiat fails, is it unreasonable to estimate 95%+ of US citizens would be in starvation mode (all pensions and investments lost, unable to buy food, weapons, etc, plus extreme crime and shit)? the remaining 5% would either have to leave the country for their safety or defend themselves from the rest of the neighborhood. The only way to guarantee that everyone is on a level playing field is to confiscate before the transfer. The rich can keep their silver, but the average person on the street can't.
I don't know. Maybe it doesn't matter to them at all, and since it would go to hell in a handbasket anyway, there's nothing to worry about regarding minor escalations within communities over someone hoarding 700oz of silver.

Because that's not how a PM backed currency works, if I understand it (and obviously help me if I'm wrong!!)

PM backed currencies are supposed to be PM = $Amount directly corrolated to each other and never changing; the only way money can be printed is if there is an increase in the amount of PMs held by the govt in their reserves. It's not about what you hold, it's what the govt calculates the country holds before the changeover (which is why they'd have to account for it all, and thus confiscate private holdings). The paper bills are "promisary notes" or whatever the fuck they're called: you're guaranteed by the govt to be able to redeem them for a specified amount of the PM, and vice-versa. If the govt didn't account for your PMs, then they wouldn't be in the system, and you'd be violating the calculation of the exchange rate that the govt set up. If the govt knew about your holdings but didn't confiscate, then your PMs you hold are 'already in the system' in terms of paper bills; there's no need to print more.

If you went to a bank and redeemed an ounce of silver for 13,000 NewBucks, then those would have to come from somewhere; likely from people paying 13,000 for a new t-shirt and a pair of socks. The bills would be there, they wouldn't have to print anything.

have I missed something about PM backed currencies?

And what I mean by this, and there is no stealing involved. I am the government, I deem silver to be worth whatever(doesn't matter much) 10k/oz, say I have 0 to make this easy. Some stacker brings in 1oz of silver, I hand him 10k newbux. There are now 10k newbux in circulation backed by 1oz of silver. Repeat and rinse. Say someone wanted silver, they trade 10k newbux for 1 of my oz. There is never any more newbux in circulation than oz to cover them. This is the best way because its harder for the shitty government to devalue the currency because there will always be coins in circulation. What do you think?

You got it kind of backwards. The government doesn't have a good reason to confiscate gold because gold is no longer money. In FDR's time, there was a need to confiscate gold because the US intended to devalue the dollar. A person could easily escape the devaluation keeping all of this money in gold coins instead of paper money or silver. After the government devalued the dollar, the person entirely in gold got an instant, guaranteed 40% increase in purchasing power (gold was repriced from $20.67/ounce to $35/ounce).

That dynamic doesn't exist today because the the US dollar is no longer pegged at a fixed price to gold and because very, very few people own any gold at all. Fixing the dollar to gold does not necessarily benefit holders of gold and there are other other hard assets that may be a better way of preserving purchasing power. There is not guaranteed way of gaining purchasing power like in 1933 when the country was still in a deflationary spiral where the prices of everything was falling.

If the US were to return to a gold backed standard, you'd probably be looking at an environment of very high inflation. Confiscating gold will just cause people to pile into some other hard asset such as real estate, silver, copper, etc. and runs the risk of making the inflation rate even higher as everyone loses confidence in the government and the money.

How do you as the govt determine what the worth of silver is per Newbuck? that's the problem that I see: you can't make a 1oz silver = 10 NewBucks (as an example) unless you know how much silver is in the wealth of the nation. The problem that we have is that there are trillions of USD paper dollars floating around the world due to the tie-in with oil (petrodollar) so, if the US went to a PM backed currency, they have to figure out:

1) How much $ printed money are in the world
2) How much silver they own

This ratio would equal the set rate for silver = Newbucks.

If you bring silver into this monetary system (i.e. trade your stash for NewBucks), and if the govt printed more money (as you suggest), then the ratio of silver to NewBucks would be altered because the assumption is that the silver in the treasury backs ALL of the paper and coin currency of the US, not just what is in the continental.

Again, have I got PM-backed currency wrong Anons? I think I'm right....

Well kinda, why would we have to determine how much fiat was held by the world? Wouldn't it just be a better idea to hyperinflate the dollar and pay off foreign debt with worthless paper and say fuck you suckers! You would only have to know how much fiat is held by US citizens in US banks, which would be pretty easy as its all federally insured anyway, compare to your stack and make a fiat/newbux exchange rate

>> No.19957334

>>19957124
Thanks Anon; my starting point of the concern I have is that there is a lot of talk here and on YT about buying silver before it inevitably moons, and that silver would be the PM backing for the US new dollar after the inevitable fiat collapse. Gold isn't in the equation; it would have to be pegged to silver after the fallout. I should have made that clear. I completely agree about the probably high inflation if US went back to a PM backed standard, but this is where my mind goes haywire. I'm trying to figure out what the precise mechanics are for a government to do this, what they'd have to do to the population in order to make it work, and all that. If I can figure that out, then I can being to consider if any of the steps are feasible or outside the realm of possibility.

It's easy for a casual Anon here to say, 'the USD will collapse inevitably like all fiat currencies do historically, a PM standard will be reinstated after the collapse, it'll be silver because North America has more silver mines and hoarding (JPM) than anyone else, and my stack will take me past the critical zone and have me ahead of my compatriots who were too stupid to stack". That's an easy route of thinking. But there are tonnes of steps in between that don't guarantee the next step.

I'm currently looking at the 'PM standard reinstated after the collapse' segment, and not only is this looking more and more doubtful (because in a world with other fiat currencies it's difficult to have only one that is PM backed, and backed in silver no less), but the implementation of this on a society-wide and world-wide basis (due to the petrodollar) is going towards 'impossible'....I don't see a way. Therefore I'm asking Anons here if they can think of anything....

>> No.19957410

>>19957303
I think militarily we could say, 'fuck you' to the rest of the world because there's nothing anyone could do about it. But the petrodollar has created a severe problem because it's in worldwide usage so the economies of entire countries are dependent upon its stability.

Here's another problem, which I haven't even come to. What if, since the US is indebted to China and other countries....what if the US decides unilaterally to go to a PM backed standard? If they do so, why wouldn't the other countries 'call in' their debt and force the US to pay using PMs? If the US now has a NewBuck tied directly to PMs, then China could say, 'Okay, you own us 3 trillion of your dollars, but since they're directly redeemable for Silver/Gold, then we'll just take the gold, thank you very much'. There would be a problem, and in order for the govt to have enough, they'd have to confiscate all PMs from the citizens....again....lol

None of this works....a PM backed dollar is ...impossible?

If the US were to go to some sort of precious metals backed currency, it would almost certainly be gold, not silver, and there's a good chance that it would be partial backing. Conspiracy theories aside, why does the US and the Federal Reserve hold so much gold? It is a figurative fire extinguisher in a glass case. In case of hyperinflation, break glass an apply inflation killer. To the best of my knowledge, the US government and Fed have essential zero silver. What large quantity that the government used to have in its stores was sold off by Paul Volcker, perhaps as a way of second prong of his attack on inflation. The two prongs being: reduce the amount of money being created circulated through high interest rates and purposely slaughtering the precious metals bubble, especially the silver bubble create by the Hunt brothers.

The US doesn't even have to go to a precious metals backed currency. It could resort of something like a Rentenmark which was backed by land. Or maybe it could be backed by SDRs, which are essentially Keynes' Bancors. All of those steps would, in all likelihood, arrest a hyperinflation.

BTW, we will not see high inflation because the US went to a specie-backed currency. It's entirely backward. We would see a specie-backed currency after the appearance of dangerously high inflation that the Fed could not control. That is, the US and the Fed desperately want to continue to worthless paper game and will only submit to the discipline of a specie-backed currency when all other efforts fail.

Most of my placer claims only have a few meters of pay at best, sometimes its only a 1m thick layer on bedrock that I am working with. My hard rock claims are far different than the placer ones as they usually have a wide area of mineralization to work, but in exchange are 100x more expensive to mine due to the different permitting schedules and operating costs. Its why I dont really mine my hard rock claims and just try to lease them out because its just so much more of a hassle to work them than placer.

The silver shorts are down collectively around 8 billion dollars due to the rise from 12 to 17 dollars, they must be shitting themselves now. Manipulating silver was the way they mostly controlled the gold price because the bankers knew it would always be locked into a ratio range so if they dumped silver they could cause a dump in gold, looks like this relationship is completely gone post corona though. There's a few metrics I have discovered that can tell if a sector is definitely in a bubble.

Grandma's are a good indicator. If a grandma randomly says that X is a good investment then it's definitely near the top. A 60 year old woman at work once said to me "what do you know about Bitcoin? I want to buy some" I then proceeded to sell my ethereum and bought silver with it, that was January of 2018.

Another good way to tell is if gold and silver penny stocks start getting pumped, that means reckless normies are getting into any stocks they can find in the sector. Even better if a stock with gold or silver in the name but actually isn't related to the sector at all gets pumped then you know it is definitely the top, liquidate everything. Recall companies putting crypto in their name and subsequently doubling in price? That was the mania, the top of crypto, that cycle is fucking done.

In fact, I think it was in the 1980s that those eagles were discovered again and crashed the numismatic market for pre-1933 American gold coins.

Most everybody else turned in his gold as Americans seemed to have much more confidence in their government then. Perhaps that's not so difficult as there was no welfare state and government workers were much scarcer.

i'm so confused by your statements.
silver has value right now. we can compare that value to other commodities like grain or gold or dollars.
so the value of the new silver dollars we created is directly tied to the value of silver. so if 10 newbux = 1 silver ozt, then we can very easily compare silver to US dollars or AUD or EURO's or what ever and quickly find the price, since people currently buy and sell silver in almost all currencies.

theres absolutley no reason to figure out how much silver is in the world and who owns it, the only thing that matters is if the govt actually has the silver they claim are backing the new currency.

The (((gubment))) wouldn't give two shit about our baby stacks frens, that's not where the money is. What will happen tho is a mass nationalization of every gold and silver mines on US soil, no matter if they are owned by foreign companies or not, since they become the only way to "print" more money (not exactly the only way, but it's to make it easy to understand).
You can also expect special agreements with producing countries already having a gold&silver positive swap line. A bit like how the petro-dollar is currently working : if you are a net producer country, in exchange of our "protection" (reads not bombing the shit out of you and stealing your mines), your silver production is denominated in neo-dollar, sold at the current rate imposed by our currency.

So instead of be worried about your stack, you should be worried for your miners' stocks, because the treasury will never allow citizens having a part of the pie. Most likely they'll force you to sell your shares at a predetermined price. What's yet to be determined is how generous the gubment would be while buying your shares.

Also you all seems to think the silver (or gold) to neodollar ratio would be fix, as it was back then, but that's not how it'll work, it's not sustainable anymore. PMs will be constantly reevaluated imho, with a floating ratio. Yes, it will end up generating inflation, but that's exactly what the central banks want, controlled inflation is the most important tool they have to generate money velocity, which is the backbone of modern economic growth (ie punishing savers and rewarding consoomers).

Wait, it's not a consensus fren, i'm the one who made this claim few months prior and tried to argument my point. But that's just high octane speculation from my part, nothing more. I've ZERO evidences it will indeed happen nor if it's even just considered by our (((elites))).

>hy wouldn't the other countries 'call in' their debt and force the US to pay using PMs? If the US now has a NewBuck tied directly to PMs, then China could say, 'Okay, you own us 3 trillion of your dollars, but since they're directly redeemable for Silver/Gold, then we'll just take the gold, thank you very much'
That's exactly what happened in the 60s and the very reason why the US went out of the gold backed dollar in the first place. It's impossible to export inflation for free, as we do now, with a limited asset. But back then US had two things : total control over the maritimes roads and trust from other countries. Neither are true now, i mean the US are still a major thalassocracy, but maritimes roads are not the only way to move oil nowaday, the pipelines web is now the main way to transport oil, and most don't cross US dominions (like pipelines connecting Russia and China for example). In this scenario, the 'dollar tax' can be override, and the USD lose it's oil-backing status.
Hopefully for the USD, it remain a reserve currency for the moment, which is it's main strenght. Most ppl ignore it, but every single country around the world hold USD, simply to be able to continue international trades in case their national currency become worthless and their commercial partners refuse to be payed in said currency.
Take the very recent example of Liban. They defaulted on their debts, and their money immediately became totally worthless. It didn't take hours for their partners to want to renegociate their trade agreement. Of course, no one want to be payed in worthless arab clown money. But Liban's population very survival depends on those trades : it's oil, food, industrial products, etc..
So the Liban central bank had to use their USD reserve to pay for said trades to continue instead of the national currency. Then when they ran out of USD, they had to call the US, to get more USD, and in exchange the US took every ounce of gold they had, and also lands..

Cont.
and basically everything worth some shit left in the country. That's what make the USD so strong, especially when others currencies are getting weaker. It's simply because every country tend to trust the US paper scam more than the others' countries paper scam. That's why the USD was so strong during the pandemic, even tho trillions were printed, simply because others currencies where collapsing, and needed USD to continue their trades and pay their debts to their various creditors.
But now, more and more countries are getting wary of the USD, rightfully so, and guess what they ask for instead of USD? Yep, gold. For the moment, it's only a fraction of the trades who are redeemable in gold (around 10% gold, 90% USD), and it mostly concern contracts for weapons, oil, uranium and other sensitive matters, often requiring retro-commissions and various bribes (mostly because gold can be melted down and thus can't be traced back), but it's getting bigger by the day.
One day will come, and it's not far away future, it's a matter of years at best, where the trust in USD get so low most of the international trades are redeemed in gold, as it was for.. well, the past 6000 years, before the total US military hegemony.
But at the current pricing of silver/gold, you can only pay for a minuscule of the trades, that's why PMs will eventually need to be reevaluated. And when it happen, it will not be a tiny x5. We speak about x1000 giga-mooning if PMs have to back the current worldwide economy.

I don't want to be too bullish frens, for your mental sanity, but you can expect to be mega fucking rich once this inevitable outcome take place.

Does he who has the gold really make the rules? Why are jews so obsessed with hoarding gold and silver? Is there some sort of metaphysical properties to gold that allows whatever nation who possesses the most gold to gain dominion over earth? They already control the world's central banks, so to me it doesn't seem like it's all monetarily inspired obsession.

Not saying this, i myself am stacking 100% silver so you better believe i'm bullish on it. It's just the current paradigm only use gold for inter-nations trades, but i believe there will be soon a 'split' in trade agreements and that the US-south america-EU coalition will use silver going forward, while Russia-Opep-China will still use gold. Of course there will be a consensus about the new international gold:silver ratio, which surely will be well below the current 1:100, that's why i'm stacking silver. I made lenghty posts explaining my reasoning few months prior, i wish i screencapped them, but sadly i didn't.

The QRD is the US aren't actively purchasing gold since a while, but are using investment banks as forefront to purchase immense amounts of physical silver (especially JPM) while maintaining the prices artificially low. The US and the EU market regulation offices are also actively sweeping under the rug these banksters practices by refusing to prosecute said banks for their schemes. Which lead me to believe the banks are mandated by the US/EU central banks to secretely stack on their behalf.

Not only that, but i recently found something i've not disclosed here yet : banks trading on the comex started to buy huge numbers of shares of silver mines outside the US, especially in mexico/peru/argentina/chile.., but didn't do it under their names, they used shell investment companies to purchase said shares.
Why would banks actively shorting silver on the markets, get big positions in the silver mining industry? It's totally nonsensical, you don't purchase something with one hand and hope to destroy it's value on the other hand.
Someone could argue they do this to cover their short positions on the comex, but it still doesn't make sense, you can't cover a position with companies' shares, and why would they use shell companies to do so?

There is some kikery going on, and i'm determined to find what's going on there.

You're welcome fren. Glad you like them.
When i started my journey into the PM rabbit hole in 2018 (my first, tiny purchase), i really didn't know it would be such a crazy ride. Being rich is a good motivation, but i do it mostly for the pmg frens i made along the way.
And if there is something i'm sure of, is it will unfold during our lifetime, it's going to be the greatest transfert of wealth ever, and it's going to make us filthy damn rich.
