Cryptocurrencies have value because people are willing to buy them. If no one is willing to buy Cryptocurrencies, then these will not have any value. The price of a cryptocurrency increases if demand exceeds supply, and it decreases if supply exceeds demand.

ONLY PUT AS MUCH MONEY INTO IT AS YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE

Meanwhile Grayscale keeps continually buying way more BTC that gets produced at its current valuation. Follow the money. I'm sure they know better than you, little sardine in the big sea of whales.

This doesn't mean that BTC will pump but it's price will remain somewhat stable. Good news. Still doesn't refute my point, though.

Fiat currencies have value because people are willing to accept them. If no one is willing to accept Fiat currencies, then these will not have any value. The price of a Fiat currencie increases if demand exceeds supply, and it decreases if supply exceeds demand.

if only there were certain cryptocurrencies whos value wasnt derived from demand

if only they offered a software/protocol service that had inherent value due to utility.
oh well, i guess nothing like that exists and Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency on earth

Thanks for straw-manning, faggot. A stock has inherent value because you buy a share of an actual business that generates profit by providing services and commodities. Materials like gold or oil have inherent value because they have industrial use cases. A governmental issued currency has value because its country's economical strength. Cryptocurrencies have no inherent value. They're useless beyond pushing around some numbers on a database. The only reason why Bitcoin got value in the first place because some drug dealers, beside wrongfully believing that it's private, where retarded enough to think it has, so in all their stupidity they used it for their businesses on the darknet.

No anon, I mean there is absolutely nothing in the blockchain space that can increase profit margins for global industries.

There is just no software that allows automatic execution of events driven by real world data feeds eliminating the need for vast amounts of personnel in select industries.
And there definitely isn't any way to speed up traditional finance and reduce fees by cutting out middle men and reducing latency.

On top of that, there is just no possible way to allow for a fully public and immutable system to be used by independent companies to conduct transactions in a trustless manner, while maintaining full confidentiality of the data in question.

So there are no stocks in zombie companies that don't provide any value?
> Materials like gold or oil have inherent value because they have industrial use cases.
But most gold is used for jewelry...

It's far more than that! It's more about how Value Income is brought by the crypto ecosystem. Projects like VID.camera really pushing the Value Income to the next level by their platform for businesses and well as users.

you just gonna have to let the market decide that. we could all decide one day nobody needs to wear jewelry it's stupid and also gold is not good for anything except as base industrial metal. could happen just as easily as people deciding they don't need bitcoin anymore.
