literally read the sticky on /fit/ and you can get in shape. the only thing i'd consult a nutritionist about is a short bout (1 week to a month MAX) of keto if you have stubborn lower body fat that won't run off with a good diet and a full course through c25k

you don't need test and roids to be physically fit and have guns. unless you're trying to compete and lose all the flexibility in your body, then more power to you

Well, HII does every thing for the nuclear surface and submarine fleet. The thing about the nuclear fleet is that big maintenance projects like RCOH are an absolute 100% no matter what necessity, which makes it almost immune to politics. They are building the USS Enterprise now, laying the groundwork for the next carrier, and then have an additional seven to deliver after that. Spending cuts could limit the new carrier construction, but I don't think it's very likely given the strategic importance the government places on the deterrence of carriers ( they'd likely cut everything else first). Then there's the matter of the five or so carriers that still need RCOH, and that HII also does all the decommissioning work required when carriers and subs leave service. That's like fifty years of gauranteed business. I just don't see any reason for it not to continue to go up. The only negative argument I can think of is that the growth will be reduced slow.

Akane has very ordered sense of murder. She not cheesy like BTK killer, or edgy like Ted, or sexually repressed like Dahmer. She very good mix of anticipation + killing technique + savoring the kill. She kill because she like killing. It's not violence or control that enjoys but squashing life. It good stuff. Most people confusing killing with sexy control freak time which annoying. She also has reward system the more resist the more painful death will be. So if you ever find you self under her binds it better just to accept fate.

With such a small amount of money, you don't really have to play it safe because you don't have much to lose but you don't want to get into the habit of making wild trades, getting lucky, and believing that you can go on like that forever. Maybe have a separate investment account where you just try to beat the market with decent stocks without taking on too much risk. This should be where most of your money goes as well as some of the profit you get from gambling. Play around with a compound interest calculator and what you can afford to contribute each month, you may be surprised how fast it grows even with an average 8% annual return.

With only 13 shares, you're not going to miss out on any significant profit if you sell, transfer the cash, and re-buy in your Roth IRA account. Then again, if your tax on the sell is more than 75 bucks, you might as well just pay the transfer fee.

Also, I recently exited my VOO position at a slight profit because in these trying times the indices just aren't going to give you that much yield. If the election swings in Biden's favor the market is probably going to slip and might go full Nikkeimode for a few years, as much as I'd hate to see it.

From what I'm seeing with model Y QC issues it seems like there is a very real chance Tesla could run out of goodwill with the public in the foreseeable future. I am unsure whether that will translate to a lower stock price, since Tesla's stock price is already so uncoupled from reality, but I think there is a very real possibility that a company such as WKHS would be able to bleed market share, especially if they price competitively and focus on institutional buyers like USPS and other government agencies who are more capable of implementing charging networks in a cost effective way. I haven't bought WKHS yet but what I see is a market niche in automobiles with a paper tiger TSLA at the reins who seems to be having trouble keeping pace.

>>19946397
The model Y doesn't have significant quality control issues, it's just that Tesla owners are much more likely to go over their car and find issues because of all the TSLAQ talking points about it that they use to try to lower the share price. The same thing happened with the Model 3 when it came out.
>WKHS would be able to bleed market share
WKHS doesn't have any competing market share with Tesla and they are in two different markets. WKHS makes postal trucks, Tesla isn't interested in that because it's low volume and they would have to make them very cheaply which would be impossible with all the technology the would put into it. It's a fact, they're not competing against each other in the same market. WKHS deliberately sold off their IP to Lordstown Motors because they had no interest in producing a pickup truck and they want to keep their niche. It makes no sense to try to become a new vehicle producer unless you're a high tech company because you're still going to get rekt by all the large companies like Ford and GM on top of being rekt by Tesla. WKHS doesn't have the resources to make self driving cars or even a decent autopilot, they don't have a charging network like Tesla or Ford, they don't have any technology that would help them sell cars in the increasingly cutthroat business.

Candle patterns are pretty much nonsense. The most interesting technical indicator I've been using as of late is RSI. It has false positives, but when it's right, it's right on the nose.

That's the thing about TA; it works, until it doesn't. You need to use it with discretion and take it with a grain of salt.

The rationalization I use for TA is that despite fundamentals playing a large part in the movement of a company's share price, what also plays a large part is buyer/seller action. As a stock's price rises, new buyers are holding shares at those rising levels. If the price continues upward, but then retraces toward a heavy buy spot, those buyers are going to become increasing anxious about continuing to hold. If that level is breached, you have more selling-off than usual, which drives the price down. Likewise, if a stock price rises too high too quickly, there are going to be fewer takers, largely out of fear of a microcosmic bubble forming. In other words I think the reason why TA occasionally yields meaningful information is that markets are driven by oscillations between optimistic and pessimistic sentiment. TA to the best of its ability intends to measure sentiment and identify reversals.

Jumping on the bandwagon. To veer off-topic for a moment, there has to be a term for this particular phenomenon of micro-fads in the space of political activism, where the fads often involve arbitrary and ultimately inconsequential actions or statements, which nonetheless become a de-facto standard for a week or two. >(CNN) - Trump's post-Covid bubble is popping

>America's single worst day of new coronavirus cases obliterated President Donald Trump's fantasyland vision of a post-Covid America -- even as he sowed new diversions in an effort to hide the reality of his leadership void in a deepening national crisis.

>More than 37,000 new cases of Covid-19 were reported on Thursday, according to Johns Hopkins University data. The numbers superseded the previous darkest day of the pandemic, on April 24. The new data suggests that the sacrifices made by tens of millions of Americans who stayed at home, that cost many of them their jobs, might have been in vain. It also suggest that the aggressive state re-openings championed by Trump, who wants a quick economic reboot to boost his reelection hopes, exacerbated a situation that now seems close to tipping out of control across a swathe of southern states.

>On Thursday alone, Texas -- the poster child for Trump's reopening strategy -- paused its transition to restoring normal life, alarmed by rising hospital admissions and a surge in new infections. Apple closed stores across Texas, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina to protect customers and workers from virus spikes. Dozens of Secret Service agents are now self-isolating after several of their colleagues were found to have the virus after traveling to the President's rally in Oklahoma over the weekend. Multiple Trump campaign staffers have taken the same step, after eight of their co-workers tested positive in the latest sign that Trump's plans for a full resumption of campaign rallies are not only reckless but may prove logistically impossible.

Can you feel it in the air?

You do know who gets to write history, right?
You think public schools are going to have textbooks that disregard the virus and blame the
govenment's response? (the Fed is quasigovernmental at least)

>or so the talking heads say
this is sarcasm, yes?
bond yields going down means big money is flowing into treasuries, which is risk-off, and generally means money doesn't flow into stocks.

You may be interested in a concept called the Issue-Attention Cycle. It's not exactly what you describe, but it is a similar concept.

I dumped $55k into $NRGU at $4. I have a bad feeling somehow.. is it possible for 3x leveraged stocks to literally never recover to previous levels from where we are right now? I mean, the March crash already happened. There's no way the government will let that happen again... right? I'm regretting my decision so hard right now. Should I just sell it on market open for $4.22 (still $8025 profit) or should I keep waiting?

I'd like some FLR if their legal troubles end favorably. I'd LOVE to get some more MSFT and cop some NVIDIA, AVGO, LRCX, and TXN but tech is way over valued so that's a hard pass.

Yes that can easily happen from slippage and NRGU will probably never go back up to 50. I don't know what the fuck is going on with that ETN because it doesn't seem to be tracking oil. There's no way I would be caught holding that.

If you're willing to take on that much risk with a 3x, switch to UPRO or TQQQ. ETNs are bad news anyway and rarely perform the way they should.
