$5 isn't getting broken until Q3. I just got off the phone with Sergey and he confirmed. He unloads link into every pump to keep the price under $5 for now because if it moons parabolically it gives the impression that the price is unstable which makes corporate types nervous. Once the Oracle shit gets unveiled in Q3 it'll seem natural to have it pump up to the $6-7 range so Sergey will allow it to happen then. Then when steaking gets released in Q4 Sergey will let it get up to around $8. Beyond that point there's too many variables to give an accurate price timeline, but long story short numba go up.
So everyone fucking relax, eat a steak, and buy a few more links while you're waiting.
You're welcome.

I posted a thread yesterday stating the same idea, except he didn’t dump link - he crashes BTC. Hides the manipulation across the entire market.

Well he needs to do both really since link keeps going up in sats.
Either way, patience is a virtue, keep accumulating is the name of the game.

I was thinking about this last night.
Every fucking LINK pump is halted by BTC shitting the bed. For the last year.

How does Chainlink control the BTC market though? Is it that unstable that one whale can push the price around? Across exchanges? And wouldn't this show up in the "whale alert" tweets if it was one entity crashing the market? And if it was that easy, why aren't the bears doing it?

The theory goes that Sergey is Satoshi so he has a warchest of bitcoin sitting around, some of which he used to buy his dead that red lambo. But who the fuck really knows.

It has nothing to do with LINK and everything to do with stablecoins and algos.

If you buy a stablecoin like DAI during a normal cyclical dump, you can get them for .95c. If you sell during a pump, you can get 1.05. This is a huge profit if you're betting against the market. You could just jump into BTC when it's down, wait for a pump, and jump back into a stablecoin. It doesn't even matter what the price of BTC is as long as it's with 9-10k, because the profits you'e making on the stablecoin alone will outweigh the price difference. And unless there's a breakout you'll usually be making money on BTC/ETH/LINK/whatever shitcoin which is relatively stable anyway.

TLDR the real money is in stablecoin fluctuations not shitcoin fluctuations
