The problem is nothing I like is anything I could get paid to do. I like reading about history all day. But even as a historian (which is statistically the lowest paying major, even lower than art history somehow), you have to write, and I fucking hate writing in a formal essay format. So unless I can get paid to spit facts out at people, I'm fucked.

Well, I do recognize the fact that the modern progressive zeitgeist that produces SJW cancer is merely a sect of pietistic Protestantism that became so low church it removed the need for Jesus altogether. Lots of you faggots seem to think just because you’re an introvert you are destined to be an artist for all your life. Introverted means you expend energy in social situations and regain it when alone. This does not mean you can’t be the life of the party. It’s taken a few years but I genuinely love talking to people in work now, and would consider myself an extrovert if not for the fact that I feel drained after a long day of socialising and still feel the need for a recharge session (usually shitpost on biz, accumulate OMG and AAVE and masturbate to missionary style white couple cream pies)

INTP here, the way I found success was to find budding niches and dominate them (for me, field IT work, Poker, selling software, freelancing). You can succeed, but I don't recommend the traditional ways to (go to school, work 9-5). You have to carve your own path, you have to look for opportunities that suit your interests. Whether it be bike repair, sales, creation in an artistic form, you can do it, just try.

I test as INTJ. I'm not sure about the scientific validity of the test and whatever but there's certainly some truth in it.

This book - among others - helped me make a plan for my career. Tl;dr pick something with good prospects that you don't hate, spend years on an unofficial 'apprenticeship' where you learn the job & industry, then after several years when you've built enough career capital and expertise you'll be better positioned to make demands in your career. I tried for years to find the perfect vocation but the truth is is that your enjoyment of the work is largely tied in to your perceived ability. The better you get and more 'career capital' you accrue, the more enjoyable the work will be, generally speaking

It's suffering but once you get your foot grounded in figuring out what you want, you'll get places. To start out, the method is the same for all types of people. Focus on what you enjoy, and find a way to share it with others.

For instance, I fell in love with blockchain tech and Chainlink from the discussions on this board. This manifested as me doing a guest lecture at my local uni for a professor that was interested in blockchain technology, and now we're creating a startup to use blockchain tech to address a local agricultural problem in the district.

You have to be willing to do for others to open doors for others to do for you. Find what you're passionate about and find a way to share it with others. Us INTs have to do in a nonstructured way, hence why it's so difficult to find guidance. Good luck fren.

INTJs is the ultimate, extremely rare type
INTJs are too smart to be a wage slave, and dislike social activity so not entrepreneurs, so they do things like programming a profitable trading bot and stay superior to the rest of the humans to pursue their goals (which is often getting every collectibles in selected video games)

>You are very low in industriousness, which is one aspect of conscientiousness. Your score puts you at the 8th percentile for industriousness. If you were one of 100 people in a room, you would be less industrious than 91 of them and more industrious than 8 of them.
>You are very low in orderliness, which is one aspect of conscientiousness. Your score puts you at the 4th percentile for orderliness. If you were one of 100 people in a room, you would be less orderly than 95 of them and more orderly than 4 of them.
>You are very low in compassion, which is one aspect of Agreeableness. Your score puts you at the 4th percentile for compassion. If you were one of 100 people in a room, you would be less compassionate than 95 of them and more compassionate than 4 of them.
>You are low in politeness, which is one aspect of Agreeableness. Your score puts you at the 12th percentile for politeness. If you were one of 100 people in a room, you would be less polite than 87 of them and more polite than 12 of them.

It's based off of Jungian psychology, which is based off of the four temperaments. Men have believed in personality types for thousands of years so as a theory it holds some water. I think personalities are undulating within boundaries set by natural temperament. Generally these can't change unless something drastic happens, like becoming religious or having a child die.

The worst thing about this shit though is that businesses take personality tests very seriously and will even make decisions based off of results. So if you're one of the autistic personalities you better start faking being extroverted or you'll never reach middle management.

Are you serious? You are a human gold mine. Level up your social skills (which in actuality are just like any other kind of skill), steal a couple clients and move to Belize or somewhere.

Two of my friends are accountants, got married, switched to online, moved to the Turks and Caicos and live like frigging royalty on a combined like seven grand. They have a fucking villa on a beach.

You can work from anywhere.

Have a friend who works in luxury retail (expensive handbags) and they even use them there. She is insane and punches on with her manager at every opportunity.. so obviously it did not work so well in that case.

I personally know two people who are extremely happy doing that. They work a few hours a day in a tropical paradise where a few grand a month puts you in the 1%. All you need are some clients who love you, and all that takes is reading How to Win Friends and Influence People and maybe taking a Carnegie course.

If you struggle with motivation and the classic advise of breaking stuff up into small tasks, making lists ect. does not work then just fucking buy a bottle of your choice of motivation pills (adderall, dexedrine, modafinil ect.) but don't pick a path that you need to take it often or if you can, at all once you have gotten the hard part over.
Eg. Use them to get that essay/assignment at uni started or finished, online business set up, first few weeks of a normie job. Once you have gotten yourself past the hard stuff you won't need motivation as you already learnt/got started/setup whatever it is you want to do.

>t. 28 y/o GP, med school was fucking hard and failed a year due to my laziness, took some motivation pills to get me through and now it is incredibly easy life, someone comes in with something hard or I don't/can't be bothered to find out ,I just refer to someone else, I rarely ever need to exert myself and the motivation of losing it all is enough to keep me above the standard of malpractice. Might just be me, but I have fuck all motivation to improve, but losing money/social status is plenty of motivation to stay where I am.
