My broker let’s me daytrade with unsettled funds as long as I don’t close the position for a loss. I did it for months and then accidentally got my first GFV because I DCAd one position and ended up closing it for a net profit, but some of the stocks were bought at a price higher than I sold them for so it triggered a GFV, but as long as I’m not liquidating stocks for a loss I don’t get GFV

Switching to cash acc has helped the growth of my acc a lot, went from 4k to 2k with a margin acc due to lack of daytrade then went from 2k to 11k in 2 months on a cash acc by being able to take profits whenever, gonna keep at it until I’m over the 25k
