You aren't that smart for sure, pajeet. You've been getting BTFO in all of the threads up until now, because your shitty token has no use case.

FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING LOOKING AT TELLOR (TRB), IT'S A PATHETIC CHAINLINK COPY-PASTE WHICH ACHIEVES NOTHING AND IS CURRENTLY OVERVALUED DUE TO HYPE ALONE. YOU WILL GET BURNED IF YOU BUY NOW, THESE POORFAGS HAVE BEEN SPAMMING THE CATALOG FOR 4 DAYS STRAIGHT TRYING TO PUMP THE PRICE

YOU WILL INEVITABLY GET BURNED AS SOON AS THIS THING HITS $10 DO NOT BUY AND DYOR

Um I’m a completely different poster than OP and I replied to you twice because I had two things to say.

Lol you are strange man. The defi oracle space is small.

If there is a bull run, link will explode. No denying that. But just like in 2017, people will feel they missed out.

They will look at the next alternative and tellor is primed for growth And is a legit project. Also the max supply is like 1.5 million. Supply and demand- boom

>> No.19867061

Currently watching this interview with the CSO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frHL3J2NAOo

Read the whitepaper, skimmed the audit paper (fucking 110 pages). Did some digging into the blockchain project that audited Tellor's code base (CertiK) and arrived to the conclusion that they are legit.
CertiK Foundation is founded by Computer Science Professors Ronghui Gu of Columbia University and Zhong Shao of Yale University and is a non profit.
When you look at the actual audit report you will see the correspondence between the auditors and the Tellor team, in which they discuss and point out flaws and errors in the Tellor codebase, which of course have been fixed in later revisions.

So as far as code base goes I'm 99% sure Tellor is legit. However, I'm still not completely sold on Tellor's use case, especially with ChainLink already having captured so much of the market share. In this article: https://medium.com/@unitimes_/unitalk-with-tellor-team-why-we-need-decentralized-oracles-1a545d6de62b, the CEO (Brenda Loya, MA Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins) is asked what Tellor's use case is, and she replies by pretty much explaining the Oracle problem in DeFi. So in other words Tellor is going to provide price feeds in order to eliminate the centralized point of failure in DeFi. This is only one of Chainlinks use cases, and depending on how well Chainlink is going tackle this problem it's going to be very hard for Tellor to onboard users. In the youtube video I linked above the CSO shortly mentions how they are too small to capture big DeFi projects and how they are struggling with onboarding users (starting at around 28:20).

So let's summarize. (Cont.)

Didn’t you say that you previous post will be your “last post”?
>K. Nice I.P swap, try harder.

Sounds like you’ve completely lost your mind. That’s what happens when you shill Link and spread FUD on other coins for too long.

Take some time off & come back in a couple of days, you’ll feel much better.

>> No.19867094

>>19867061
(Contd.)
>Pros:
+Solves a real problem in a rapidly expanding industry
+Working product (this is huge, 99% of crypto is vaporware)
+No ICO, no premine (also huge, there are no devs or ico whales about to dump on you)
+Codebase has been audited
+Team of dedicated white Americans (scamming potential significantly decreases with this)
+CEO and CTO have master degrees from accredited university (Johns Hopkins)
+Received two funding rounds, one by Consensys one by Binance labs (big players, possible Binance listing)
+Low marketcap. ~10m currently, similar project like Band has a marketcap of 25m. Chainlink is at 1.5b+.
+Hybrid PoS/PoW looks interesting, not sure if it's more than just a novelty

>Cons:
-Competition (LINK) is widely regarded as the to go to oracle solution and has signed all the big players. Is set out to be THE standard and might leave no room for a small competitor like Tellor. This is the biggest FUD desu
-No users. They went live in august 2019, but have yet to announce any real users. Since the security of their network relies on the token price and demand for the oracle (tips), they really need to start onboarding users
-Very barebones oracle solution. They have upgrades scheduled for V2 though.
-According to the white paper, the supply will increase from 1.3m (currently) to more than 3.5m within a year. Inflation will decrease exponentially but still, that's a lot of coin dilution.
-144 queries per day. Tellor queries it's miners for data every 10 minutes. Chainlink promises to do it in real time. If CL manages that and stay secure, Tellor is obsolete (there is of course, an IF there).
-Female CEO (Not a sure negative but hey who knows)
-Small team, not a lot of funds (Only about $400k combined from 2 funding rounds)
-CSO credentials are meh
-Went up 300% in the last month from $2.00 to $8.00. Might retrace to $4-6

(Cont.)

>> No.19867116

>>19867094
(Contd.)

So in conclusion, I would never bet on Tellor to win a large share of the decentralized oracle market. Chainlink is miles ahead in that regard with more funding, better backing and a way broader use case. However, Tellor could very well become a small subset of this oracle eco system and find their niche since the team seems trustworthy and they have (some) Binance and Consensys backing.

This leads me to believe that investing at these prices, although risky given the recent pump, is not the worst decision. As it stands I believe Tellor is worth at least 25m on speculation alone and might be a contender to breach top 100 if they manage to onboard actual clients. I'm sitting on a small bag of 100 TRB now, but I will definitely keep an eye on them and increase my stack if they make progress on that part.

Not mentioning Tellor's biggest competitor would be weird when discussing Tellor, especially since Chainlink is so much more entrenched. If you bothered to read my assessment you would know that I don't think that means it's game over for Tellor. It just means that they have to find a niche. They are definitely the underdog here with a lot of upwards potential.
