Yep, most people who romanticize living in the country are absolutely clueless about what it is actually like. Or they do know what it is like, but don't realize that they will hate it. The ideal location isn't out in isolation in bumfuck nowhere, but some tiny neighborhood in bumfuck nowhere. I live in an extremely rural area, but also have a bunch of neighbors. Ideally I would be a bit more isolated, but I would definitely want to have several houses that are within view. Also, all these LARPers that talk about homeschooling children are retarded. If you want to fuck up your kid, homeschool them on a ranch 100 miles from civilization. Kids need to interact with lots of other kids and adults to even have a chance to develop property and if you genuinely believe that public school is an indoctrination center you need to take your meds.

Because I didn't try to fix signs of a failed school life that were showing up since I entered 6th grade, as I was one of the retards convinced that I could succeed with logic and luck alone, without any knowledge instead of putting in the effort to study and learn. I managed to graduate highschool by pure luck even if I never paid attention to classes and wasted all of my free time into entertainment or seeing friends. I realized I couldn't maintain this in Uni, and instead of trying harder, I suddenly dropped out. I did some odd jobs here and there, but never managed to save the money and spent it all on cheap stuff like escorts or tech products trying to escape my thoughts filled with regret at my lack of discipline. At some point I even started playing the lottery every week so that I could escape this life of responsibilities into becoming a rich NEET. To think that I had dreams of being something else when I was younger. Suddenly, the YouTube algorithm being what it is, introduced me to a video describing how someone quickly managed to raise his capital thanks to cryptocurrency. And since that day, I never stopped reading and learning about the block chain, TA, risk management, market psychology and the like. I started in 2018 with $100, now I'm $6000. It's not much, almost pathetic, especially in two years even if I'm still living with my parents. Too afraid of taking big risks. I was wary of chainlink because of the memes and I regret it deeply. Now, I'm balls deep into STATERA, I'm top 50 because I bought early.

I just want to make my parents proud and show that being a failure at school doesn't necessarily mean you can't succeed in life. That, and doing as less as possible while still being financially secure. I want to be the living proof that laziness can be rewarded
