Put the vast majority of your $$ into non-memes. That doesn't mean all slow-growing expensive stocks, there are plenty of small to midsize companies with plenty of upside but with minimal risk.

Use a small portion of your portfolio for your meme stocks (if you have to).

this is how you do it.

set up a fucking balanced portfolio!

this doesn't mean just buy a bunch of stocks and hope it's balanced it means actually go in and add stocks to your portfolio that are different in size (not price per share but by market cap). then by sector (tech, finance, oil and gas, consumer goods.. etc) do this with different market cap sizes of companies YOU like that YOU are familiar with.

Then once you get an alright portfolio rolling that is longer term. THEN you buy into meme stocks meme stocks should only take up about 20% of your portfolio, they will be high risk high reward, if you lose you still have a solid portfolio to fall back on, but if you only go with your solid diversified portfolio, you really won't grow much

it takes time but keep at it, all i got to say is build a safer portfolio before you start dumping a shit load into meme stocks, once you get a good portfolio going you should ALWAYS have 1-3 meme stocks that YOU believe in

If you have a real broker. Do like I do and sell options on high premium stocks like NVDA. Take that money and meme with it. Sometimes I end up way more out of my premium with memes and sometimes I just lose half. I never lose more than half of my premium money from memes just so I can grow positively over time.

IB has better commission fees because its more suited for day traders, but IB requires 25k. TOS is a software that I use for charting. I do have a TD Ameritrade account and I use that for long holds. (Nvda, bac, jpm, msft, aapl, ms). I use both for different approaches.
