We've also seen the GSMA case-study showing that NKN can out-perform and under-cut competing traditional offers in the space, with use of community nodes as well as their partnership with China Mobile - China's largest telecommunications corp.

Tencent are buying up iQIYI which is a direct competitor to their own video service. This will only be good for NKN's involvement, so large-scale deployment and adoption is possibly sooner than we thought.

If you somehow thought Tencent was buying into NKN directly however, no, that's not happening.
