the best feeling is just riding the green wave up with a stop loss (trailing or manual) around 5% behind. 25% vs 20% gain, still both good. Sure it could have gone to 40% or something instead in case your stop loss triggers prematurely, but is it worth the risk and stress? Maybe just make the stop loss trailing 10% behind if volatility is that big of a concern and you really want to keep your position.

There is none. Empirically any % will result in losses because its such a common strategy that algos will sweep through them.
You need other indicators that are paired with it. I literally have been using EMA's with different periods and volume indicators for ages.
The more experience you get the more you realize that TA is a meme in general and the more complicated the TA tool, the less powerful or predictive it is.

don't use a stop limit because it's not a guarantee it will sell even if it triggers. Use a stop loss if you can or just a trailing stop. I'm not familiar with how the trailing stop updates because it's frankly not normally for volatile shit, but it will tell you what its stop price will be anyways.It's essentially the same thing as a stop loss order except it will update upwards everyday for you, just modify as necessary.
