zinc is ok for treating colds, like some studies showed reduction in cold duration by a couple days. But there is no standard zinc formulation or dose. It is not effective for prevention. Just because it's a supplement doesn't mean there are no risks, don't take it if you have no symptoms

how the fuck that actually translates to covid? No one knows, there are no studies.

I don't really do a lot of in depth stuff when I buy a stock. Just a simple look at the ticker. Take Disney. Last year it was 150 per. When something like that drops to under 100, you don't think or research shit, you merely strike like mad and buy it quick as hell. Cause you know that unless Florida sinks due to global warming Disney will always be there. The only research I do on a company is if I actually give a shit about it and plan to hold it for life after I buy the stock. Research before you buy can cost you cause while your dicking around that cheap price ain't waiting on you to make up your mind. So by the time your done, goodbye cheapies.

There's also a bunch of useless small caps who do shit like run a nitrogen or phosphate factory in Iowa who may or may not have good dividends.
Actual producers and other stuff are practically irrelevant. I'd look into the tickers I mentioned.

I think REITs are great but make sure you stick to the ones that have the liquidity to take advantage of decreasing real estate prices instead. Dont forget it can potentially be worse by september if college kids don't have to rent anymore. Debatable whether it will precipitate a real estate crash, maybe stick to the REITs that survived through 2008 just to be safe

use a trailing stop or a manual stop loss to semi-guarantee your profits. It's so great for most shit on our exchange (TSE) because afterhours isn't significant (only a portion trades on both TSE and NYSE) so it's actually reliable. Just make it a stop loss (at market price) and not a stop limit so you can be sure it sells everything. Use with care on volatile speculative shit though.

the best feeling is just riding the green wave up with a stop loss (trailing or manual) around 5% behind. 25% vs 20% gain, still both good. Sure it could have gone to 40% or something instead in case your stop loss triggers prematurely, but is it worth the risk and stress? Maybe just make the stop loss trailing 10% behind if volatility is that big of a concern and you really want to keep your position.

>whats a good % on a trailing stop I like the idea of auto selling when it drops a certain percent
There is none. Empirically any % will result in losses because its such a common strategy that algos will sweep through them.
You need other indicators that are paired with it. I literally have been using EMA's with different periods and volume indicators for ages.
The more experience you get the more you realize that TA is a meme in general and the more complicated the TA tool, the less powerful or predictive it is.

>aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I've been screwing up since I made a large unrealized gain and didn't close out my options om Monday. After calming down I've made what seems like better moves today. Nonetheless there is still one move I'd like to do. Go in hard on a single buy call with 50% of my entire account. I walk away with anywhere from a 2x to to 7x by mid January 2021.

Good or bad idea if I just set a sell order good for 90 days at a certain price and straight up ignore my phone?

>> No.19691942

>Also does the trailing stop sell from the high all time? or Just use a stop limit when it drops to a price I cant tollerate?
don't use a stop limit because it's not a guarantee it will sell even if it triggers. Use a stop loss if you can or just a trailing stop. I'm not familiar with how the trailing stop updates because it's frankly not normally for volatile shit, but it will tell you what its stop price will be anyways. It's essentially the same thing as a stop loss order except it will update upwards everyday for you, just modify as necessary.

no harm in setting one. If you're worried about commission fees, you shouldn't be paying until it actually triggers.
