Buying calls is the least risky play in options. You'd be down a premium at worst and be able to sell the contract or exercise if it does go up. This is the non-degenerate purpose of a call. I am looking right now at 9c calls for oct 15 for MRO for 1.17 for example. Probably could find the same for all the other baghold pet oil stocks too.

I set out on a goal. A years salary in the bank, a fat 401k, a well stuffed brokerage. In short the trifecta by age 40. Well my case quads cause I've got a pension as well. Also hitting 100,000 net worth. So fucking close. Just 20,000 left.. Godamn it.. Still 3 years before I turn 40..
