To be honest, if you need something that fundamental explained to you, you shouldn't be selling derivatives yet. But that's kind of the plan.
The problem with buying/selling calls is unless you're doing it on memes like SPY, you're going to see relatively low volume. If you're certain shit's going to moon, you'd sell an ITM put and then wait until it becomes practically worthless and then buy to close. It's the same with calls if you're expecting it to crash.

Can anyone explain something about dividends to me? I see IVR, by default, unless you choose otherwise, pays out it's dividend in stocks. But I'm wondering if they give you stock based on the current price of the shares, or based on the price of the shares of the ex dividend date?

So if you have 100 shares of IVR when the yield is 100%, and the stock price is at $2 at the ex dividend date, would they "hold" $200 worth of stock at THAT price and put it into that stock for you at the payment date? Or would they look at the current price, say, $7, and and pay you at what the yield is now, which is significantly less?

It's already 1/7th the market cap of TSLA despite producing zero vehicles and losing 100 million per year. When TSLA was at that market cap they were producing tens of thousands of cars a year and were the only US automaker seriously producing electric vehicles.

They don't have any advantage, hydrogen is a terrible idea compared to battery electric and it already doesn't make sense for anything besides long haul trucking on the same route. Battery prices are rapidly falling and they'll end any use case for hydrogen. At that point, what will Nikola be? A company that hires other companies to make electric cars for them that will be objectively inferior to TSLA and likely the other automakers.
