There's serious mental illness on this board vis-a-vis investment horizons. It seems like most of you are here for get rich quick schemes. If that's the case, might I refer you to r/cryptomoonshots? Better yet, your local gas station where you can buy a powerball ticket? Why not just go to Vegas? Blackjack seems easier for a beginner to understand than the blockchain.... I swear to god ADHD really is endemic to everyone born after 1992. Certainly is the case here. I WISH half of you would take your ritalin before posting. That would increase the quality here by a not insignificant amount. What, your shitting your pants because the token you purchased is crashing? How long were you holding that [STA, FLAMA, H3X, Link, etc etc]? Oh, 48 hours? Yeah, you really aren't cut out for this. Buy and hold is the best advice none of you will take. Can't wait to hear from you all in 8 years, how you had 20k STA but sold in 2021 after it crashed to $5 and you thought you had lost it all. It's a funny thing in behavioral economics -- when the market is roaring everyone seems to buy. What else is the case when the market's roaring? Prices are highest. And then -- wait for it -- the market crashes and everyone sells... when prices are lowest... It's the animal in man and yet even animals aren't this dumb.
So please, if I'm wrong about something, if I'm old fashioned (we knew this already), let me know how I'm missing the point. But the depths of dismay on this board after a bet didn't work out after 48 fucking hours is frankly laughable. Wall St would eat you alive even if you did have the stones to give it a try.
We need strong willed and smart investors on this board. Take that weak shit to reddit or keep it to yourself and lurk. Try, just for a little, to think about next month, rather than this week. After you're comfortable with that, start thinking about 2021. and beyond and what you want your wallet to look like then.
