https://blogs.oracle.com/financialservices/driving-payments-innovation-through-swift-gpi-universal-confirmations

Oracle Banking Payments for gpi is designed to be deployed as an active layer to meet gpi needs on top of an existing core banking solution or payments hub. Alternately, banks can move the complete payments into one enterprise-level solution that caters to multiple countries, multiple underlying core banking systems for SWIFT gpi, and local payments.

Additionally, Oracle Banking Payments for gpi:

is compliant with the SWIFT Rulebook 2020 and has been SWIFT gpi attested since 2019
ensures accelerated go to market with new features, including additional gpi preferences around bilateral agreements and smart match of incoming gpi confirmations against outbound/pass through and queue-based workflows for investigations and exceptions
provides an early-adopter advantage and lower total cost of ownership with a solution that supports ISO20022 rich data and APIs for digital overlays
>has a blockchain adapter to future-proof the bank for SWIFT’s ambitious modernization plans

This is isn't explicit confirmation, but we do know SWIFT had a POC with Chainlink to test ISO20022 messaging back in 2017, they have a SWIFT gpi LINK solution, a stream had a member from the Chainlink team literally stating they're working on SWIFT nodes, LINK had the SWIFT logo in the mainnet b-day video, Oracle is integrating LINK and now this links Oracle to SWIFT. This is as close as we can get to confirmation

Great product from Oracle, making any bank SWIFT gpi compliant with a second layer.
Also very interesting wording with the blockchain mention:
>blockchain adapter to future-proof the bank for SWIFT’s ambitious modernization plans
SWIFT have been very reticent with direct blockchain mentions but this is Oracle saying "you'll want a blockchain adaptor to keep up with SWIFT's plans"
Good crumb anon, thanks.

Oracle, the company, have stated that they will be integrating Chainlink in Q3

SWIFT in the past have stated they're working with chainlink

Both companies are now collaborating on a blockchain project.

It doesn't seem like a huge stretch to assume that project would involve chainlink.

This isn't swift and oracle "collaborating on a blockchain project", anon. It's Oracle providing a second layer solution for integration with "SWIFT gpi" cross border settlements, which is not a blockchain project. But it includes a blockchain adaptor and alludes to the fact that swift is independently working on a revolutionary blockchain project which, in light of Chainlink's work with swift in the context of ISO20022 messaging, strongly implies that Chainlink's work with swift is well under way.
Which is not news to anyone here, but is good confirmation nonetheless.

Corda settler is meant to be a universal settlement platform, including all cryptos.
XRP was the first example of a crypto they're transacting because they had a ton of XRP laying around from an old agreement that fell through, and because a dedicated XRP oracle already existed.
XRP is in no way part of the Corda Settler back-end.

Corda using XRP's oracle means they're going to use whatever oracle already exists and is most convenient.

How do you not know this after all this time.
