to put it simply "every action has a reaction", means nothing is random. Those arithmetic signs + and - on the table, means whether they are rising or falling in value.

Let's say the Range (which represents volatility of an asset) with f1 at any number, f2 is +, f3 is -, f4 is +.
>f4 tells you that f3 rised in value
>f3 tells you that f2 fell in value
>f2 tells you that f1 (current value) has rised
The theory then becomes "Asset X is more volatile than before (f2), but it is stabilizing (f3)". f4 is usually useless but we still give it out so you can use it to know where f3 is going. These f4 f3 f2 f1 thing is used to make an educated predictions.

As for the candlestick charts, the left bars shows you at what level we are losing traders. Right bars shows at what level we are gaining traders. Except for f1 price chart, it shows the current value of the derived volume profile.

The inequalities signs is helpful only when both compared value are the same signs, so you can know which gain/lose value more. Let say f2 for Buyer is +, f2 for Seller is +, then we know we received more trading from both team. But the inequalities shows that Buyer's f2 is > than Seller's f2. Then the theory becomes we received more Buyers than Sellers.

C shows where most trading goes to. Looks like absorbtion of buy orders to me..
D shows Control (Concentrated trading) is more then expensive price. Clearly a market maker is making his profit right now.
F show we are losing buyers near the Highs.
