It's not a meme, I legitimately want to know by what metric we're the best place ever. We never top any international meme indexes of happiness, freedom etc, economically we're fine but not really top top tier. Culturally, socially, is up for debate. If you meant we're not Africa-tier therefore amazing that's fine but 'one of the best' is too bullish for me

My dear bongs, I am a med who spent 5 years in Scotland studying STEM.

The good:
Bongs are extremely professional, well-organised and have incredible university institutions. Not a single complain I have for the university I attended. Scots are more approachable and friendly than the English, but both are still way behind any med. The UK has the best scenery I have ever witnessed. The north and the western isles are simply incredible in everyway. Bureaucracy is very limited, safety is a top priority in the workplace and elsewhere.

The bad:
Most people are dead-on NPCs and it is hard to form honest relationships with people. Everyone spits out the same generic BS, political discussions revolve around the number of genders and pronouns, people take anti-depressants like its paracetamol. I came to believe that this stems from the wageslave culture and the fact that you don't know how to live happily; bongs don't find happiness in meals, hiking, swimming. They just drink their sadness away every Friday to forget the depressing sky over them. Also, because it is cold and there are no big roaches in the UK, it is acceptable to leave plates soaking for 2 months.

Ok fellow britbongs,
the below link is an xls sheet with a list of the ETFs they bought. Guy don't go all in. Please be aware that EFT still carry liability even after the ETF is worth nothing.

OP, you are from EU (still). Go to Portugal, get a residence. After 6 months you can open a bank account. The taxes in crypto in Portugal are like 2%, a joke.

Fairly accurate, I don't like most aspects of my country and culture. But recognise the pros are pretty accurate, safety is a big deal here to the point where it's quite possibly over the top. I don't get the scenery aspect though, I find UK scenery incredibly boring, but that is likely because I live here and every other place seems way cooler.

You can open one before that from what I see. the issue is you need to be away for 1 full year (you can come back for 12 days I think), if you withdraw before then, the UK can claim its theirs.

I'm waiting on my monero card to come in.
Then I can IBAN transfer to my main bank or withdraw in cash.
I just don't know if I want to start using it yet.
I could have 4% draw down yearly and meet all my material needs forever.
Or I'm thinking about going back to school or starting a small freelance business which would require some "starting capital."
Or if i keep wage slaving for another year and there's another 10x in the cards, I'll have income and I'll be able to buy a nice condo and never work again.

I'm surprised how many guns we actually have in this country. Now granted that I live in the villages. I actually know more gun owners here, yes the main majority is shotguns.
>I'll make it to the point where that doesn't matter at all
This is when you'll see how powerful your passport is compared to others. The way I think about it britain has power from being the largest tax jurisdiction/fx markets. They want to keep these ties the offshore the way they are so they won't implement a US style global taxation.

Cyprus. Another thing I must mention is how, because of British colonialism in part, we are a based, functional country (although you did fuck as up by D&C tactics leading to 1974).
We lack the horrible bureaucracy of Greece.
We adopted the British sense of collectivism and national unity which formed in WW2; people pay their taxes here. Every business will give a receipt and will give to the state, otherwise customers will complain or snitch you. If you visited Greece, you know that they never give receipts in restaurants to tax evade.

Also, the "this is a 10/10 in bongland" is mostly false. This is a 10/10 in bong land:

Have you been to John O' Groats? Have you seen the whales from the 200m high cliffs?
Isle of Mull? Iona? Ullapool? Lake district.
I will never forget the comfy cold, breezy nights. After a long trek in molten glacier with the herd of deer, the icicles, the occasional beam penetrating the clouds, the incredibly fresh air, the water, the lakes, the lack of bugs. The caves, the Gaelic signs, the endless castles the overwhelming volcanic rock formations on the northwestern coast. The Smoo cave... It was so cold yet so comfy bros
