I have 10k LINK and around 0.2 LP. I have 19 ETH spare. Should I just throw it into link (another 1k) or try to get to one full LP token?

I have around 30 dxdao too but thats long term and would be stupid to cash out now

>> No.19404649

you'll only be able to stake 2k link (eventually) with that little LP. 10K/1LP is a nice ratio.

sounds about right

What does the last graph show on the left axis?
Revenue with 1M Link and 0.2 LP?

LP is actually cheaper than RPL based on fully diluted market cap

staking your own link is not factored into the chart but Linkpool profits of 83m per month surely would be from when staking is available. Owning an a LP token or part of one will give you early ability to stake your own link in one of their nodes.

So you would get 216 dollars with 0.2 LP and lowest market share even without staking / with zero linkies staked?
Seems hard to believe.

>> No.19406323

>>19405960
Yeah these numbers seem wrong. Its easy to calculate your part of the profits:
((LP revenue * 0.25)/4000)) * your LP
$1 million revenue seems small though given that LP plans to
stake tens of millions of Link
stake hundreds of thousands of ETH
have additional income streams from Node as a Service and the market.link fees

>>19404516
LP had a nice surge in price mostly coming from one semi popular spanish crypto youtuber shilling it in one video.
Now the shares dipped back into the 37 ETH/LP range, which is a reasonable price given Link's ratio to ETH.
Not the worst time to pick up some LP.

Go to the DEX: https://staking.linkpool.io/dex
You need to have Metamask to put orders in, but you can connect your hardware wallet to Metamask.

No, I can't stress this enough. It's LP Revenue / 4000.

If you stake 100 LINK and the returns is 10% (10 LINK), you would get:

>7.5 LINK as your staking rewards
>2.5 LINK goes to the distribution contract as a fee and then is distributed among LP holders, so you would get a percentage of these 2.5 LINK back

>but how does staking fit into the graph?
it doesn't
that is a strictly dividend profit sharing chart based on how many LP shares you have and projected linkpool revenue
staking returns would be in addition to what is shown
keep in mind that chainlink was below $1.00 when that chart was initially created (during linkpool ICO)
most people still don't get that linkpool shares will be a huge earner soon and has the potential to have bigger gains than chainlink itself

because it only covers the 1000LP shares that were in the ICO
the other 3000 were not included in the ICO and are reserved by the team
this was explicitly explained before and during the ICO
this chart was produced to strictly cover the ICO sale

Just a definition thing. Is revenue what the pool earns in staking rewards or is it their 25% cut of the earnings?
If its the latter my calculation is right. However your's is only right for those people holding exactly 1 LP.

>If Linkpool earns 1 million dollar, every LP token gets $250. That's it
simple and true
keep in mind that it's paid out in link (so if link price goes up you're gaining more) and it's paid out on a biweekly basis

any revenue estimates for Linkpool when staking is on?

>> No.19406964

LINKPOOL is very interesting in that you can already value it like a security.

Currently it's annual dividend yield is 0.5%, so its trading on a 200 PE.

That seems like a high PE, but for this kind of company its actually probably on the cheap side. Annual revenue growth is likely over 100% and will remain so for a few years.

In addition you get the benefit of being able to stake. Overall seems like a good buy right now.

The nice thing is that the number of LP holders is constantly growing, see pic.
More LP holders = more people staking Link and ETH in the pool = more revenue.

>> No.19407097

>>19406849
Revenue is everything they earn (25% fee of the pool, NaaS subscriptions, Market.link listing... and so on). That's why the team can't really sell their LP tokens, they pay their costs with what they earn from their 3000 LP tokens

Kinda odd how this chart makes you figure out how much eth a share costed at the start to figure out how much you'd expect to make since now 30eth barely gets you 1 share.

Whats a reasonable expectation for linkpool revenue per month?
