Should I liquidate CVS? Bought 345 CFDs (X5 leverage) at 60.74. My target is 71.12 for 3581.10$ profit. Waiting for algos to fire up when price is close to 69.50 to close the huge gap. If current stock price rises by 2% three days in a row or 3% two days in a row, it should get there. I opened my position almost a month ago, after earnings. It beat expectations and results were much better than last year. They did not withdrew year guidance. I work at a pharmacy (not in the US, though) and things have been pretty good (compared to what everyone is expecting) in Q2 so far. Looking at current economic situation, sector performance and company balance sheet, fundamentals are solid, IMO.

Thing is, I'm not sure how June will play out. Tomorrow SP500 should fire up (since the month is almost over) but that could kill the juicy in the beginning of the month and CVS could continue to consolidate in the 68-64 range for weeks. CFD fees are now at 4.18$ per day (almost 3 fold what they were initially) and I'm not certain when will CVS hit the target (assuming nothing changes). Should I take the chance and run with my gut or sell now and lock in half my profit?

It seems like... maybe it's not a big deal.

>U.S. FDA approves Eli Lilly's diagnostic agent for Alzheimer's disease
>6:10 PM ET, 05/28/2020 - Reuters
>May 28 (Reuters) - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Thursday approved drugmaker Eli Lilly and Co's radioactive compound to detect tau, an important characteristic of Alzheimer's disease.

>Abnormal versions of two proteins, amyloid and tau, are involved in Alzheimer's disease and considered hallmarks of the brain-wasting disease.

>The FDA said Lilly's compound, Tauvid, is the first drug that has gained the approval to detect tau tangles within the brain. This marks a leap from the current method of detection, which is to study the brains of people who have died.

>Tau forms neurofibrillary tangles within neurons in the brains of people with Alzheimer's disease.

>Eli Lilly's agent is given to patients intravenously and binds to certain sites in the brain where tau is known to form. The brain can then be imaged with a PET scan to identify these tangles.

>Lilly's compound is meant for the diagnosis and not treatment of Alzheimer's, which is one of the top 10 leading causes of death in the United States.

why am I so unlucky?

everytime I research a stock through screeners, valuation, reading articles and opinions, learning the business and then decide I should buy, it'll be up 10% at open the next day. or at least 4%

last sunday/monday I found mdu, skyw, aeye, cw to buy. the only one that did not go up all of a sudden was aeye but it was also the one I had spent less time doing research and wasn't so sure, but today I said fuck it and put an order to buy at 7.50 50 shares at around 12pm (when I was having lunch at work) because it was trading around that price I figured it would go down.

Get to the end of the day and realize that not only my order never got in, it had gone up 19% for the day. Fuck this shit.

I ended up buying CHR.TO. An airline company that is kind of dependent on air canada, but if Air canada doesn't go burst, this one should go up 2 to 4x. I bought 50 shares at 2.89. I tried buying on monday at 2.77 but my fucking broker sucks sometimes (on yahoo finance it said 2.75 so I don't know why 2.77 didn't go in when I know for a fact they have a 1cent spread)

Put simply; if end of march or though out april, and may you didn't buy or dollar average down on existing positions your just letting gains out the ass get away from you. Airlines are (or were) still 50% off from the highs. That's basically double your wad for free. Cause once people start moving again, economy opens up, those airline stocks are going right back to those highs. Same with oil stocks. Granted those may take a bit longer but if that company also deals with gas the rebound may be quicker. Why; winter pure and simple. All those houses sucking that gas. Then the increased oil sucking going on as the year moves on.

no, that would be sales tax that target collects. here in Los Angelez it's 9.5% sales tax. now multiply that for just 1 target location across hundreds of customers. it's easily enough to pay for cops and then some. cops get paid from taxes such as state and sales tax.

Target is a major donor to the Minnie police department. It's not out of the kindness of their soul.

And it's a "super target" so I assume they have super foodcourts and give all the cops superfree food and starbucks to keep them around super just in case.

Honestly, target should feel betrayed, the cops just stood by and watched the rabble vent their anger on that poor building.

In the security camera video available on TMZ it's very obvious he's aping out just like you'd expect. He and two other nigs were in the car, other 2 cooperated no problem although they tried to run away. Didn't even get handcuffs. Doctor Sir was resisting from the very beginning. After he was handcuffed for resisting, he was informed of the usual shit and told he was going to be walked to the police car and they'd take him to the police station. He further resisted, throwing himself at the ground and headbutting an officer at one point. That's when he was then kept on the ground with a knee on the neck.
While he was being belligerent at the beginning, the officer that later necked him called for support, while it was his partner that was dealing with the felon. 2 officers responded. They didn't really do anything except watch the show.
All 4 were fired.
I didn't see a single thing outside perfectly ordinary, by-the-book going on. Neckman obviously was under duress and dealing with too many things at once to check if Doctor Ape was fine. As the animal could scream 'I can't breathe', clearly he could breathe. It's not clear why he died, but I would think in the following days we'll learn it was drug overdose or something similar. The officer did not neck him long enough to kill him.

>Target is a major donor to the Minnie
i wouldn't be surprised if they are a donor, i'm just pointing out that in general cops are well paid through taxes and the tickets they hand out. having said that, i doubt afreakans looked into target's financials to see they are a donor before deciding to loot. they're also looting businesses that have nuffin to do with cops, like autozone and various cellphone shops. when blacks use ___ as an excuse to loot, there's not much sense in trying to see why they are looting any particular place. they also operate based on emotion and rumors. this is what i understand the slang "based" to mean, it means reacting to something according to your most "base instincts".... in this case, hatred, anger, greed for free target shit. if i were a nigger in that area, i would be looting as well. i don't think i would set fires though, but it looks like no one is getting caught for arson which usually gets you years in prison. setting things on fire is pretty serious compared to walking out of a store with a free TV.

if true, that didn't really work out did it. the Target near me hires a security guard to stand near the exit, and it looks like it's just a target employee wearing black, and not a private security guard, but they made sure to get someone hefty-looking. either way, i don't live in an area with lots of blacks but there are mexicans. they had no security guard just a couple years ago. sometimes the security guard is just a large woman dressed in black and with a perma-scowl. it's pretty funny. my point is, cops or not, they can't really do shit against a mob of 200 angry blacks at this point. i saw a video of many cops being sent to protect the kneeler cop's house. it's all so silly and seems fake.

I also remember a suspect being questioned, the cop asks, what did you just throw, "That was not my crack pipe" i mean then the crack head took off running jumped a fence, and a one legged vet caught up and used some force to take him down and get hand cuffs.. i mean, that's like fuckiing routine shit... just put your self in their shoes for one day... you're a law enforcement officer, and called to a domestic violence dispute, dispatch tells you there is a female scared for her life from her husband... the husband has a gun and has been drinking heavily... this kind of fucking thing happens all the time, there are standard operating procedures, but it requires intelligence... the smart thing to do would be to go no where near the situation... let the dude commit a double murder suicide, but lets get back to the officer. As the other anon implied, shop owners don't call the cops on such small amounts of fake bills, at best they put the guy on a watchlist for the next time he comes. There is almost certainly something else in the story, e.g. he called the cops because he looked twitchy and possibly (if at all) used the fake bill as a reason to make things simple.

I'm still not sure what really happened here based on my independent research.
- Up to 15 minutes should be safe even assuming he's cutting blood flow, not air (air can be stopped for even longer relatively safely).
- The guy can scream 'I can't breathe', clearly he can breathe.
- Normally he'd put his knee on the back, not on the neck.
- Assistance from his other cop buddies was weird. Was this a problem area? It looked like it from the damaged car running off after they arrived, and the kind of people ambulating on the street. Even then, a bit strange.
I'm still not entirely convinced he went too far, but I'm open to the idea.

Yeah. My grandmother had it to. Sad, even sadder was that she forgot that I was married. So she'd always ask who the girl was that was with me. So we explained things to her. Some days were better than others though. Next time we'd go to visit, the same situation, grandmother not knowing, we explaining, etc. Other things were "lost" to that we had to explain. Like the death of my granddad. To be frank it was hell.

Awrite, off the bat I'm just one asshole on the internet, so just process what I say along with all other info you find and come to your own conclusion.

I actually have this same Direxion data in front of me, quickly looking over the last (pre-covid) annual report, I'm seeing solid weighting for all the classics (Northrop, Ratheon, General Dynamics) all of whom have gotten some big contracts this week as I look here https://www.defense.gov/Newsroom/Contracts/

Honestly, I read military contracts a lot and I think spending seems to be way up, I say hold but if it hasn't done anything you like after at most a few weeks, pull.

But yeah, big spend spree in defense rn so I think should be heading up, just expect big swings.

Well as a trading platform the whole point is to be online and reliably execute your orders.
which robinhood has a pattern of failing during "high volume". That is VERY bad.

If you want a better rate on a loan go to a bank or mortgage your house. renters need not apply because they don't understand the value of physical assets, security, and freedom.

we've been watching spending and shit... honestly thank you for being a part of what you've done for this country and I'm looking forward too... those gov't contracts were negotiated pre virus so all data is already priced in... im sorry.

Are you drunk my friend? Not an insult, just hard to make sense of most of that sentence.

But to the point of it being priced in, this is the most public release of info so even if it's "retail" following previously known data, it still will results in an increase in positive-trending volume, yes?

Okay. I can handle big swings, this is money I can live with if I were to lose it (hopefully not). I was planning to just hold and come back to it after a couple of weeks.

My concern, is the rather long term hold of a leveraged etf, if that makes sense. Any hidden stuff I should know about compared to a regular etf? Fees? Re balancing? I bought through Robinhood. Thank's for the responses, by the way. I appreciate it.

>> No.19398170

>>19398116
Yeah, but I bought on day 2 of being green, so I came a little late hoping for more. It's alright.

>> No.19398285

>>19398157
Rebalancing just means they review how much of everything is in what each night. Technically fees are higher in a leveraged etf, but they are still like under 1%.

Don't buy-and-hold a leveraged ETF, this is the kind of thing you should pay attention to every day really, especially in these volatile times (I know everyone complains about crabbing, but the after shock of March isn't over).

Then again, I really don't know what is a buy-and-hold any more. Guns, honestly. Will hold video better than gold in this world where 1/4 working people in the US is out of a job. I think people underestimate how desperate people will get when the checks stop, but they can't go work at the CoffeeBean or whatever any more cuz it closed.

i sold my SPY put too early and regretted it before it sank back to 303 from 306. I still made like 28 bucks but i could’ve made 60 if i wasn’t a pussy and closed early.

A. stop taking easy bait
B. how the hell did the ambulance get there so quickly? or is that the way it's cut?

>>19398001
Yeah it's easy for me to say, knowing the guy died, that he shouldn't have been doing that.

I have the audio muted, but how powerfully did he really shout it? It's a lot easier to breathe out than it is to breathe in, and once you start choking you really start panicking. It's been a while since I've been seriously choked but I remember it being very alarming.

It bothers me that cops have no problem smashing people's faces into the asphalt like that. Maybe I'm soft but I don't think that's right.
