Just avoid those. It's not that hard. Low cash & equivalents - operating expense ratio => offering soon. Wait for offering if you wanna load. Below offering price is usually a good price to buy.
There are some other factors that help you time it like the company timeline.
=> Look at market cap instead of share price.
=> Avoid offering
Most companies don't really want to dilute their shares either. It's bad manner. They usually wait for pumps to offer. Offering on pumps are usually expected which drives the "buy the rumor, sell the news" - mentality. The term "rumor" is a bit overblown since most of those catalysts are expected and have a clear place in the timeline. Read the cc transcript and the corporate presentation. They will give you hints.
=> Don't buy stocks without catalyst in the near future
=>Don't buy stocks which are low on cash
=> Sell before or on news.
